Got to say I’ve eaten in some amazing restaurants But I want expecting this in middle of Malton , our friends had invited us over and said they had booked us into dinner at a little plates restaurant in the town . Some of the best food I’ve had in a while at unbelievable prices having eaten as Sexy Fiah and the Ivy . I wasTotally taken aback by this place , amazing twists on some great dishes pork cheeks , The HakeAnd ham , but my personal favourite shrimp and chirizo in a Thai broth was just amazing , the comments round the table that everyone was delighted .

Went to FortySix for my birthday meal on a special trip to Malton. We had a fab evening. The service was excellent, the food impeccable and imaginative. It was everything we hoped for and more. They went above and beyond to cater for our seemingly never ending requirements - vegetarian, nut and alcohol free. Instead of saying you can't have this this and this, they said we can adapt this this and this. Very rare these days, and really made the difference between us having a good meal or an excellent meal. And it really was excellent. Thank you!

Spectacular small plates, lovely relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced. The food really was excellent, looking forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu. Cocktails were also excellent, pumpkin spiced white Russian particularly.

Great food (surprisingly so). We loved the duck and fish courses. The desserts were creative. Pardon peppers, a bit soggy but overall an excellent meal.

What a find! Such a treat for Sunday lunch. Amazing platters of food both mains and desserts. The meat was succulent and the vegetables were delightful. Treat yourself to a sharing dessert board and you won’t be disappointed. Fabulous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We’ve eaten here on an evening - food is fantastic! We didn’t think it could get any better but we were wrong - we went for Sunday lunch today and it was amazing. Definitely the best Sunday lunch ever - beef, pork, lamb Wellington, roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips on a board plus 4 other veg. Then various tasters of heaven - wow! Can’t praise the establishment enough - Ollie and Gemma put their heart and souls into the food and the serving staff are quick, efficient and friendly. Love the place.

Absolutely delicious Sunday Dinner Platter and desserts to die for. Generous portions and everything cooked fresh. Great selection of veg and huge Yorkshire puds with jugs of gravy Friendly and attentive service and drinks in the sunny outdoor terrace. What more could you want.
