I was looking to have a hog roast for my wife's 60th birthday on 27 December 22. I phoned round all the usual companies and a few said no, whilst some said yes, but later after quoting, withdrew because of the date and bank holiday. When I phoned Yasmin at Bracken, she answered despite being on holiday, but promised to phone back on return. She couldn't be sure to get a pig to start with, but working away in the background over a couple of weeks, she came back to me and confirmed they could supply pig and roaster. Definitely someone who does what she says and who hates to be beaten and disappoint.Nearer event we arranged for delivery on Boxing Day ... who do you know would do that? All arrangements were planned and worked well including cooking instructions from Isaac.All in all a very successful celebration of my wife's 60th birthday, so our grateful thanks to all at Bracken Catering for their devotion and commitment ... cannot be faulted and would happily recommend them to anyone! I contacted Bracken catering for a presentation dinner .Jasmine was lovely to deal with and was extremely thorough with the details.We had various issues regarding numbers constantly changing and dietary requirements needed- nothing phased.On the day the tables were laid beautifully and the food served promptly.The food was fabulous.Everyone enjoyed it.Fab service, excellent quality and good value for money.Would recommend and use againThank youAnnaliese

Harnett/Beach Wedding 5th September 2023 - WOW absolutely fabulous food and service, Yasmin and her team worked faultlessly all day, starting with a selection of scrumptious canapes which were circulated by the team whilst wedding photos were being taken, once seated we were treated to a delicious three course meal, probably the best home made soup I've ever had, melt in the mouth beef and all the trimmings, a trio of desserts, finishing with tea or coffee. The evening reception was treated to an amazing hog roast, potatoes, crackling and a selection of condiments. The standard of this catering company is exceptional and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any occasion, thank you for making what was a Beautiful Wedding Day at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn extra special for all who were there.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Yasmin. She provided delicious, high quality food, was incredibly organised and helpful and her uncomplicated approach made organising a funeral a much less stressful experience than expected. I cannot recommend her catering service enough… don’t hesitate to book her.

We had a hog roast for my husband’s 50th birthday in July. The food was excellent. We had a beautifully cooked hog roast, done to perfection with a range of accompaniments. All our guests really enjoyed it and commented on how good the food was. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Very professional and friendly service. Isaac and Yasmin from Bracken Catering were amazing. For a party with around 70 people they provided us with a half hog and all the help, equipment and advice needed to cook it beautifully ready for the party - there was plenty to go round and everyone absolutely loved it. (And the crackling was superb!) Thank you both and see you next time!

I can’t rate Yasmin and the team at Bracken Catering highly enough. I contacted Yasmin after being recommended the Hog Roast by a wedding coordinator. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Yasmin was easy to along with, her communication was amazing (super rapid and always lovely). Nothing was too much trouble and she was very flexible with our requirements. The food was absolutely delicious and extremely good value. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this service again and would highly recommend Bracken Catering Company.

What a hog roast! Every single guest at our wedding said what a delicious hog roast it was. A choice of brown or white bread, veggie and vegan option upon request before the day, plenty of meat, stuffing and the tastiest apple sauce as well as plenty other condiments to cater for everyone. When the team arrived on the evening of the wedding they didn’t make a fuss all they needed to know was what time to serve and where we wanted them. They set up the tables we had put to one side for them and just got on with it. The team on the night were super friendly and were interactive with our guests too which made the atmosphere super special. For food that was left over they had brought take away tins that they used to plate everything up for us to enjoy the next day whilst we were tidying away (which definitely made it more enjoyable!). We couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you again and we can’t wait to book another hog roast with you in the future.

We have very recently had the pleasure of Bracken Catering cuisine at my son’s wedding. It was at the Yorkshire wedding Barn near Richmond. Yasmin and Isaac were awesome. The menu and food served was out of this world . The canapés were outstanding. An explosion of flavours! Our three course meal was so lovely that I would be happy to receive in a restaurant. The soup was a powerhouse of flavour. The roast beef was stunning but being a dessert gal I was blown away by the three different desserts on the plate. Sublime!!! Their team were all efficient & most courteous . I would highly recommend them to anyone.
