I don't really know how much more I can rave about Papelon. Honestly their food is ridiculously good.I have gone back 5 times now in as many months and it is as good every single time. I took my girlfriend this time to show her what I had been talking about so much and she was very impressed. The 4th time I went I illegally parked and ran to get it, IT IS THAT GOOD.The two owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, so kind and genuine, as well as passionate about their food. They deserve all the success with what they have built. Cannot wait to come back again.

This is an absolute must-try! Amazing food experience and we don’t usually say that but can’t wait to be back next weekend for round two. We had the contodo cachapa which was really delicious and warm, also light. The prices are reasonable given the quality of food and service. Highly recommended!

I am IN LOVE with this Venezuelan place! It is delicious, fair money for the good quality - guys speak like 3 languages and are super nice and welcoming! This is my go-to when I’m in Portobello. Super recommended!

The owner let us try the food before we got one with everything (last option on the menu) and we were so positively surprised. We never had Venezuelan street food, it seems we missed out! The cheese, beans, avocado and the sauces fit very well with the warm corn pancake.

When I was about to order, they said to me:“These are the best cachapas in Europe”And honestly, they probably are.SOOO yummy and truly with a traditional flavor.The people serving are super nice.Would recommend 100%

Amazing food, really good and fast service!We also had a really nice chat (in italian!) about how the served meal came to be made, using traditional Venezuelan techniques and creating something never seen before!Highly recommended - I am going for another one!

I had the Con Todo with a mix of chicken and beef - it was fantastic. The pancake has corn and they add cheese with it, together with the avocado and sauce I don’t know what else to say other than you have to try it…I’ve not had much South American or Venezuelan food before but this makes me want to go there and I wonder how not everyone in the country is fat… super friendly staff as well to make the experience a proper 10/10. Do try!

This place is absolutely great! I have tried several times Venezuelan food in Argentina BUT this this the best Venezuelan street food I ever had. The cachapa is gorgeous! Many vegetarian and vegan options. Can’t miss it if you go to Portobello Road Market.
