Roden Hall Care Home

After breaking her hip and shoulder my mom went in for re hab and unfortunately got worse rather than better,while in there mom had really bad diarrhea and sickness,Dr was called and asked for a stool sample which took staff 5 days to take it!... Her personal care wasn't good,mom had pads on while poorly and a member of staff was throwing them in a bin in the bathroom eventually they were put into a yellow bag which was left in mom's bathroom for nearly a week,staff didn't wear gloves or aprons when making or serving her food, couldn't wait to get her home,mom became very sore because of her diarrhea and I took some cream myself because the staff were putting body lotion on her,think more training needs to be done with certain members of staff.

Disgusting my mum was a resident for 8 years she died alone because they didn’t let the family know she had deteriorated they knew she had earlier in the day we all knew ,,, they never brushed her hair or teeth they lost her clothes blankets and wheel chair shocking rubbish care for a thousand pound a week ,,, disgusting

Great care, great food and great lifestyle on offer at this stunning yet affordable care home. My Grandad absolutely loves it here.

Great place with brilliant facilities.Staff are hardworking and put the residents at the forefront of everything they do.

The staff at Roden Hall are friendly, helpful, caring and know the needs of each person they help. The food is good and they cater for everyone's specific food requirements. I recommend this residential retirement 5 star Hotel.

My parents were both at Roden for a very short period. The external and internal building looks great as mentioned by the other reviews. My mother was mobilised without her oxygen and is now “pallative end of life” in another more caring home. My father slipped on water in the bathroom unsupported and has suffered a stroke with severe impairment down his left side. This is not a home that I would recommend for those you love and are dear to you.Please do not get caught up on the trappings of this place, training and more robust systems are urgently needed for safe care!

Roden Hall is a really beautiful care home. The facilities are more like a 5* hotel which suits my grandma. She is really happy at Roden Hall and loves all the staff and says how nothing is too much trouble. The food is also excellent which is important.
