Better Gym Walthamstow Stadium

The gym is not bad at all, it's spacious, clean and has a reasonable equipment. However the HUGE turn off is the extremely annoying radios playing 3 different stations at the same time, always left at an unbearable and unreasonable loud volume that not even the most powerful noise cancelling earphone in the market can fight against. The cacophony generated is explained at on sign inside the gym as 'entertainment policy to keep our customers motivated'. Indeed, it motivated me... to cancel my membership and go elsewhere.

Overall Great Gym, i have been to The Gym (Walthamstow, Ilford) and Bannatyne Chingford and this gym is better overall.Gym is practically empty off-peak times. Even during peak times (5 -7pm) you still can use the equipment you need.All necessary equipment and machines are available and in decent condition. Good variety of machines for the size of the gym.Members of the gym and the staff are friendly and helpful.Changing rooms, showers and toilets are clean for a gym.Small improvements that can be made:- Extending opening hours on the weekend- Adding Mirrors in the functional fitness area- Needs more 20KG plates, if someone is bench pressing and another person is using leg press, then there is almost no more 20KG plates left in the gym.- A petty complaint but the same playlist of music plays every day in this gym.

Nice large gym. Free weight area is small but decent selection of machines and overall very spacious. Only few people training on Friday afternoon so no problem to do what you need. Changing area, showers, toilets all very clean.

One of the best gyms that I have been from all Better organisation ones. Large space, smartly utilised space. Not so busy after lockdown. Keep in mind that you have to place your car reg in the system when you walk in the gym. There are also bicycle racks to lock your cycle under supervised CCTV. Very friendly staff and face recognition gates. Top notch!

The staff are great and friendly. The gym is clean.Its a new gym but only some of the equipment are new.The parking is slightly annoying because if you forget to add your registration in the little computer inside the gym you will get a parking ticket.They could have made more use of the space. The weight area is tight if its busy.Its an ok gym but they could have reduced the price for what it is.I've been to many gyms in England and abroad and thats what im comparing it to. Its my experience and opinion.

Well thought out gym with enough equipment and space for all fitness types.Free 3 hour parking available for members (you register your car reg on the iPad located inside)

Brilliant gym experience, friendly staff

THe worst experience I have ever had from one member of staff that said they were the manager. I was told why did I go to their gym if I have another membership elsewhere. I have worked for the local authority and I can only say that the experience I had, reminded me of dealing with a disobedient school child. To top it off it took 3 emails and three phone calls 7 weeks for the general Manager to respond not the 5 days they say it takes to respond. Not a reflection of the facility or other staff or any other GLL gyms. Just a reflection of those in question. very very poor

Very good gym, everything you need to get fit.

Excellent gym. Very clean with staff always eaning equipment and keeping place safe for members. My first visit. Will go back soon. I felt really safe
