Awesome service and brilliant interaction. Great knowledge and approach, with amazing attention to detail. Kept up to date on progress with photos, and WhatsApp’s, which I really liked. Freddie is now my go to for bike fettling and tune ups. Will 100% recommend to my bike crew.

Throughout this year, I have had 6 bikes both serviced and repaired by Freddie @ Active Bikes.Excellent service, Freddie will work closely with you, offering recommendations, explaining exactly what and why something needs done (often with pictures) and all his work is to an excellent high standard.I would highly recommend Active Bikes and will continue to use them for all my bikes maintenance and repairs.

Having had enough of listening to me moaning about the clonking gears, jammed dropper seatpost lever etc... my partner dropped off my MTB bike to Freddie for a service..... OH. MY. DAYS! Took my bike out for a ride last night & it felt like it was new bike day!!!!!!!!!!!! Freddie did an AWESOME job!! My bike now feels like it's gliding along!! Thoroughly recommend Freddie's services. I'm happy and my partner is even happier as he doesn't have to listen to me moaning!! Win win!

Freddie at Active Bikes provides everything you want for a bike service; he is technically highly skilled and he cares deeply about getting your bike into perfect condition. He is very good at consulting you before progressing repairs and ensuring you are clear on prices (which are competitive) before starting. He genuinely loves bikes and they are always returned spotlessly clean and shiny (he even touched up some scratches for free). In short - he is highly recommended, I wouldn't use anyone else.

I recently dropped my bike into Freddie for a service and could not be more pleased with the results. it was the 1st time I've had the bike serviced properly since purchase 18 months ago, so everything was starting to feel like it needed a really good tune up and it was not running well. what I got back was amazing - it rides like a dream and was cleaner than its ever looked. couldn't be more pleased.

Freddie at Active-Cycles was recommended to me by some friends who had received service from him. I decided to follow up on their recommendation when my bike broke and I cannot recommend him enough.Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, reasonably-priced. Everything you’d want or need in a cycle technician. He has a vault of second-hand parts if you want to save money, or he can fit you brand new parts. Turnaround was very quick and he even had a quick look-over my bike.I won’t take my bikes anywhere else! You won’t be disappointed !

I received great service and a quick turn around for 3 bikes that were serviced. Its great to be able to support a local service. Knowledgeable and friendly, and provided some great pointers on general maintenance. Freddie cleans the bikes too and they look great.
