Absolutely first class service. I have got to say I came from another opticians recently after a full blown detached retina, sadly I wasted time and money on Contact lenses with them. Sandie was diligent and carried out a thorough eye test. Delighted with the outcome, can now see again!

Excellent and first class service. Very friendly staff from reception upwards. I’ve never experienced any problems with my prescription like I have in the past by others. Very competitively priced also.i would not consider going elsewhere now I’ve found them.

I’ve recently made an appointment with Simpsons having been to a number of high street chains over the years. I felt that as a small family business they would provide a bit more care and attention and I was right! Fantastic service from start to finish in a warm and welcoming environment. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on. My mum attended Simpsons for a number of years too and always spoke highly of everyone at the practice. Lovely local family business, friendly, efficient and caring.

My husband recommended me to go here. Glad I did. Excellent service from eye test to choosing glasses ect.So far I love my glasses.Very pleasant staff all around.

I was looking for another optician and it was suggested I should try Simpsons in Muirhead. Once lockdown eased I made an appointment for an eye test ,the test showed that I had cataracts in both eyes and another appointment was made for further tests the next day and the optician referred me to Gartnavel Hospital which I attended 4 weeks later for an assessment and 4 weeks later I had the cataract in my right eye removed and a lens fitted ,the next day on removing the dressings I could see better than I had in years both distance and reading.Roll on 4 weeks and I have just been back in for a test and looking like I will only need reading glasses once I have my left eye done .The whole experience has been great and unlike High st chains Simpsons want to improve your sight and not sell you a designer frames although they do have a great selection! Highly recommended.

Today I had the misfortune to get some metal particles in my eye and on the advice of Hairmyers hospital in East Kilbride was told to go to A&E or your local optician....The thought of going to A&E was off putting & so I contacted Simpson’s my local optician who thankfully advised they would try & fit me in between appointments....This I duly did & was seen by Sandy who provided excellent care & attention to my problem.I felt compelled to write this review for two reasons:-1....Patronising your local optometrist as I have done for many years ( more than I care to remember) is well worth it & I have always found them to be first class people attentive to good customer care..2....Should you need a foreign object removed from your eye then I would recommend contacting Simpson’s Optometrist for an opinion before taking the arduous A& E route..Written in good faith..

Not all eye tests are the same! If you want an advanced exam, this is the place, wasn’t rushed, extended tests way beyond what I’ve had previously from larger high street opticians. Definitely recommended.
