Cardinal Medical Practice (Chesterfield Drive Branch)

This is by far the worst surgery I have ever come across. Don't get me wrong most of the staff are great. But to get an appointment is terrible. They make wrong decisions that they have no idea about I was left going to A,E. ridiculous they are genuine people who need real appointments. Plus you have a woman upstairs by the the name of Andrea giving out price and confidential patient info and nothing is done the surgery should be ashamed of its self.

Terrible GP surgery. Takes an hour to get calls answered if your lucky. I have been prescribed medication and collected it, this medication was not mine and could have had serious effects if I had trusted the GP and took them! Then to be told my personal NHS record had been sent to another person and included their records on my NHS record, big data protection breach. I experienced a bleed on the brain, to which my GP informed they would alert my consultant urgently! This was completed over 3 weeks later.

If I could give zero stars I would honestly this has to be the worst doctors surgery in the uk . They are rude . Unhelpful and have no clue how to do their jobs properly. One person says one thing and another says something different. Completely avoid at all cost . Reception staff need a reality check

I sent a repeat prescription using the app a week ago. My pharmacy has messaged me twice to say that they have had to chase the surgery as it still hasn't come through. I tried calling the surgery this morning and chose the Prescription option. It just rang and rang and then after 5 minutes I was automatically cut off. Have spoken to my Pharmacy again and they have emailed the surgery again as I have now run out of my medication!!!Has someone got to die before anything changes for the better?

It's incomprehensible that a medical practice could be this incompetent. Every system they have seems to be designed to ensure they do the absolute bare minimum amount of work possible. You wait terrible times on the telephone, only to be told that they will not take bookings over the telephone anymore. Then you fill out their online form for assistance, and get an automated response telling you they can't help you! Absolutely awful.

A little wait on phone, but otherwise a great service, always got appointment when needed. Great follow-up for on going issues.

Incredibly poor service.Over the years the service has always been less than satisfactory but these last few days have really shown how incompetent this service really is.Yesterday morning my mum got prescribed a prescription and it was never processed. The location of collection had received no prescription and when we revisted the surgery, your receptionist also had absolutely no record of this prescription which is appalling.The receptonist wrote down a note for the prescription and was specifically asked for it to be collected from here and NOT from the usual collection point and somehow through all your levels of incompetence when we arrived today, we were told that it was at our usual collection point.When we said that this was NOT what was asked of you yesterday, your incredibly poor excuse for a receptionist simply shrugged her shoulders and said she couldn't do anything. If this was my prescription then I would have laid into her. Useless lady. Do your jobs correctly and then there would be no issue.The service from this place is nothing but appaling.

Having not used a GP surgery for 5 years or so, I had an efficient experience back in October. The practice nurse who referred me to the hospital. She was lovely.Got referred to an out of hours doctor more recently. Unfortunately they seem to be out for lunch lately. Trying to get the results for important blood test result is proving to be mission impossible. The ask my GP app is closed all the time. The new request" doesn't have the right options on it. Are they closing down? What's going on here? This is absolutely ridiculous. I'll be moving practice."
