Bristol Blue Glass

We did a bauble making glass blowing thing here. It was superbly entertaining. The 2 guys who were doing the glass making were not only knowledgeable but friendly and funny as well as clearly skilled in their art. Everyone was really friendly. Collected the baubles today and they look great.

Pretty shocking customer service, we came in to collect an item ordered online for Christmas whilst in the shop we were thinking about a 65th birthday gift but we had a set budget of £100 (to which family had put in) we seen an item for £125 and went to ask if there was anyway to get to £100 for the item, the woman who responded was very rude and abrupt, having myself had many years in retail management the response and service was shocking, a simple sorry we can not do any discounts on that item would of been totally fine, but instead she took it as a personal attack and was very rude to my wife to which my wife left the store upset - it had not been her intention to offend anyone at all, even if said person felt it had offened, there is a way to be professional about it. Being local to the area for over 40 years we will certainly not be buying anything more from here (and will not recommend after this experience), what a shame that one person has caused this review (everyone else in the store seemed nice and polite)

We came as a group and had an absolutely amazing afternoon making baublesThe guys (Alex, Ty and Harry - hope I have remembered correctly!) were so much fun and happy to share their knowledge with us and kindly did a couple of demos. They made sure everyone was included and had a laugh with us at the same time. We all loved it!

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Bristol Blue Glass on Sunday, learning the ancient art of glass making with Harry, a guy who certainly has the skills and knows what he is doing when it comes to glass blowing and glass moulding. I recommend you give it a try, you will enjoy it.

This lovely glass making shop, where you can make your own glass bauble or watch things being skillfully made in the workshop, has a wide ranging selection from tiny glass animals to large jugs and vases. Glassmaking explained in detail and questions answered. Very friendly including the neighbours cat that likes to hang around in the heat from the furnaces.

Fantastic experience, very friendly and very interesting.If you want to experience a quick session without feeling you are been rushed asking as many questions as you want, I would totally recommend it, Plus you can have your own blown bubble sent to you the following day or if you live local you can pick it up.
