Nice atmosphere and lovely staff.Fish finger sandwich was really quite awful, definitely tasted off and it was not fish fingers like stated on the menu, neither was it on bloomer bread - got the feeling it was thrown together with very old ingredientsThe steak sandwich was super tough and was really disappointing. So chewy it was basically inedible.Fries were delicious, but we in essence paid £40 for two bowls of fries, the rest was really not good.May have been an off day, but certainly was disappointing.

Warm, cozy atmosphere with traditional pub feel .Not really clear when you walk in where to go , not always someone about so may be worth just having a sign saying to wait .Roast for the most part was delicious !! my friend and I both had pork and it was amazing . Good size portions and definitely worth the money . Potatoes and gravy were a bit cold but they were also taking out a big tables food at the same time so nothing to really complain about , and didn’t make it inedible . My Yorkshire was a bit hard but that’s more of a personal preference thing . Veg and meat was soo good and they gave extra gravy with no issue .Service was slightly slow at times but it was really busy and our server Jason was super super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much of an issue . Could tell he was swept off his feet and working hard so didn’t mind waiting a little bit extra time .It’s my second time having a roast here and will definitely be back again .

We had there our Christmas party dinner. The food was fine , I'm not a big fan of food I chose earlier . Portions were ok, all the meals were good but all the veggies were not so tasty. Service was fast, and waitresses were asking all the time if we wanted a drink or something. Atmosphere there is amazing, place is beautiful.I tried to do photos of all the foods we got.

Lucy was an amazing bar tender who made our night effortless and very enjoyable. Her cocktails were fire and got us absolutely wrecked! Best bar tender I’ve ever had! Go Lucy!! X

Visiting from Spain and staying close, Racks has been an amazingly friendly atmosphere even for a single traveller. In particular I had exceptional service from Jasmine who helped me select my meal this evening from a variety of small bites (which ended up a very tasty and filling meal - great recommendation thanks Jasmine). Really tasty and great variety. Slow cooked lamb, Halloumi fingers and spicey chilli sauce and smoked salmon and dill fishcakes ... Fabulous!!Yesterday I tried the Hereford Beef burger - really delicious and perfect fries. Had very friendly service from Paul. (great sense of humour!)Thank you for making my visit so relaxed and pleasant ❤️

Delightful spritz’s (2 for £12!) and really lovely outdoor space - the garden is a sun trap. Had great service from Jasmine, couldn’t have asked for a more attentive waitress!

Thank you so much to Bob, Marie, Vicki and the team for a great Christmas party! Food was delicious and efficiently served, especially considering it was such a large group. Loved the cosy, festive atmosphere in the ski lodge. Brilliant night!

Went here for an office Christmas party. We're only a small office and there were some other huge parties also going on at the same time, but the size of the venue meant we were all in our own locations, and weren't disturbed by any other party. The staff were smiling, friendly and efficient, and the prices weren't outrageous for drinks. A good range including a low alcohol beer on draft. Food was brilliant. Despite how busy they were, our food was tasty, piping hot and of a very good quality. Plenty of gravy and vegetables with the turkey, interesting starters and a brilliant dessert. Really impressed with Racks!
