I am a mature late learning student. I've been having lessons with Antonycoming up to a year now.I have found Antony very knowledgable in all aspects of the guitar. He hashelped me start to become more aware of the instrument in terms of playing and the theory behind it.Having been mainly self taught, I felt the need for something more.Antony is providing this for me, working to my ability enabling me to adopt a more positive and enjoyable approach. His lessons are all constructive and easy to understand.Will definitely Recommend. Excellent teacher.

Our 7 year old son has been having electric guitar lessons with Anthony both in person and via zoom for about 8 months.Anthony is fabulous with him. He makes the lessons fun and our son enjoys them a lot.He is always happy to help and makes us as parents feel supported in helping our son learn outside of the lesson.We find Anthony incredibly easy to communicate with as well as a great teacher. We highly recommend him!

Great guitarist, highly professional and competent teacher both in terms of music theory and technique and incredibly patient!!! Ant is very aware of and understands the needs of the student to achieve the correct balance between learning and enjoying the guitar without undue pressure or expectation. Each student is treated as an individual and Ant takes the time to understand the musical aspirations, tastes and experience and tailors his tuition to that persons individual needs. The sessions are very relaxed and taken at the student's pace so that they can take on board the information and retain it giving them increased confidence with each session. There is no constraint on type or style so that the student can learn by listening and playing along to their preferred music, genre or guitarist. Amazing guitarist in his own right. Superb!!

I have been having lessons with Anthony for around 3 years. I can honestly say that this guy knows the guitar inside out.His passion and enthusiasm is evident in how he explains technical and theory aspects in an easy and manageable way.He's very easy going and makes his lessons fun and entertaining. He must have the patience of an angel as sometimes I feel we've covered something already, but Ant has a way of making it different each time, which makes it alot easier as a student.He himself is an exceptional player and having seen him play live with his band the energy and skill is amazing to watch and hear.I feel its honour to think that he teaches me....!!I've got to know Ant well over the past few years and have grew a great friendship with him. Which is nice and consider him a good friend now.Booking lessons and paying are very easy and straightforward.If you want to learn the guitar, no matter where you starting point, Ant is the guy to get you from nowhere to somewhere...If there were 10 stars, he'd get them...

Anthony has been teaching Maddie for 5 years now and she's gone from new starter who is about to now take her grade 6 exam from acoustic to electric guitar. She is a competent guitar player who Anthony has nurtured over the years. He has taught her pieces so she can perform solos in school plays and helps fine tune what she learns to her personal taste. He is extremely patient , professional and makes lessons fun and relaxed.

My daughter has been loving having lessons with Anthony. He's a really good and knowledgeable teacher and we've been going to his lessons for over a year now. He's also really patient and knows what he doing. Would definitely recommend.

If you are looking for a Guitar teacher who can teach you everything there is to know about the instrument both practically and theoretically and want to be a great player then you need look no further.Anthony is a professional musician and the quality of the lessons more than reflect that. He helped me achieve my grade 1 and 2 in acoustic guitar within the space of a year achieving Distinctions in both and now I am working with him to achieve my grade 3 in electric guitar. as I have chosen to work my way through the grades I cover scales, finger exercises for increased dexterity when playing, fret board knowledge and music theory, improvisational playing and rhythm playing studies. There are also spoken assessments within the musical knowledge sections of the exams. I am also given the freedom in lessons to bring in songs of my choice at any time and base the lesson round that song. I have been taught how to properly maintain my guitar with cleaning products and how to replace my guitar stings when needed. Right now I am covering the circle of 5ths, pentatonic scales, lead guitar improv, and bar chords with the route note on the E and A string which is required for the rhythm playing study. There is a lot more to cover but I hope this gives you an insight into how deep you can go into learning the guitar with Anthony and assures you that he knows what he is doing.Whatever age, background or goals you might have weather its to play professionally and refine your technique, take grades to climb your way to the top of grade 8 or just learn to impress your friends and family, Anthony will help you get there. Anthony has his own music practice studio that you can take lessons in that follow the strict guidelines for Covid-19. It is very safe and whenever I go I am required to always wear a face mask, maintain social distancing and use the hand sanitiser that is provided. Anthony takes these guidelines very seriously. Anthony also offers online lessons via Zoom which are fantastic if you prefer to take your lesson in the security of your own home. Many students fear that they will not get the same benefit or quality of the lessons the same way they would in person, but I can tell you from experience that it is no different and I have always ended my hour tuition weather its online or in person with the same satisfaction so don't rob yourself of the opportunity just because you think online lessons wont provide you with a full service because they do. You will have homework consistently sent to you via email or dropbox and have plenty to be practicing throughout the weeks.There are those that are great players but don't have the right temperament or open enough mind to teach and pass down what they know but Anthony really is as great a teacher as he is a player. He is a student of the craft so you will always be taught the most up to date techniques and theory to aid your mastery of Guitar in an ever changing industry He is patient and will get the best out of you. Making mistakes are invited during the tuition sessions as this is how Anthoney believes a creative environment needs to be. I haven't been able to find a more well rounded teacher for guitar than Anthony. He also provides the opportunity to have his students perform in open mic nights to a live audience which is all voluntary of course but It is to encouraging for us to play in front of an audience as it is a great way to take our playing to new heights.

I have been having lessons from Anthony for about a couple years now. I can definitely say without a doubt that he's the best. Does more than just teach, he gives amazing advice and tips. Most importantly, he is very passionate about students. For example, If a student wants to be an amazing lead guitarist in a band, he will make sure that student achieves that goal :). Good teacher and friend too :). If there was a 10 stars option, I would go for that XD. But honestly would very highly recommend.

Anthony has been our guitar teacher for approximately 3 years. He has excellent rapport with his students (young and older), is very patient and encouraging. Anthony is very professional and an excellent teacher. He has always been accommodating, teaching my daughter to play music that interests her, as well as encouraging my daughter to learn new songs and has inspired her to learn to play some tunes herself. During lockdowns, Anthony made a very efficient transition to working online, so our lessons were not disrupted. We have always been able to negotiate different times for lessons, if needed. I have recommended Anthony to my friends and would recommend him as a guitar teacher.

Anthony first started teaching my 9 year old over zoom during lockdown, he was so helpful and patient with my tech issues. We've since started face to face lessons, my lad loves it and can play several recognisable rifds that he likes to show off. Well worth every penny
