Absolutely fantastic service as always from Richard. He's my go-to for DCC chips and advice. Once had a dodgy decoder - he let me drop it off and exchange it when I was passing through. A true legend, and I can't recommend his services enough.

Fantastic service and very helpful advice. The YouTube videos of the various sound decoders are very useful for making informed buying decisions. With Klarna interest free payments also, personally I don't entertain buying sound chips from anywhere else. Excellent!

Richard has been very helpful with advise on installation. Just recently converted to DCC operationSent 3 loco's from Australia to be fitted and was a quick turn around with other decoders being sent. So far 19 loco's have been set up and no issues with any. Will getting a few more as my fleet expands. Then work on Steam at a later stage. Enjoying my DCC operation

Great service from this company.My sound chip was pretty much tailored to the locomotive I wanted to fit it in, with the advice being given on what I would need, being first rate. I'm pretty clueless on the electrickery side of things, so was extremely grateful that Roads and Rails took the time to get what I wanted right.I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending them, and will certainly use them again in future.

I’ve known Richard for a long time now, back when he wasn’t running the company full time and trying to hold down another job at the same time. Even back then, the service was excellent and faultless. Fast forward to Roads and Rails proper and the service is just as good as it was back in 2016. He genuinely wants to provide the best service possible. Yes, this is a long winded review - anyone can say ‘good service’, but in this case, it really *IS*, whether you’re after a sound decoder, a full install, or just looking for some advice.
