Booked the hour long baby wearing consultation. Both ladies were absolutely lovely and so helpful. We felt instantly comfortable around them and were able to chat freely and ask all the questions we had. We found a carrier both me, my partner and baby are happy with and currently have it on loan for the week. Will definitely be recommending this service to my friends and will be booking for the cloth nappy consultation soon!

Bourne Green is a fab shop that I’d highly recommend to all my parent friends! Caroline and Katy were both great help and super friendly. Caroline helped me find a sling that was comfy and fit well. Hiring a sling to try out after a fit appointment was great to test drive it with my baby boy. Katy helped me find my feet with cloth nappies for the first time, offering lots of helpful advice. I now confidently use them on a regular basis!

Caroline and Katy are lovely people and so knowledgeable with what they do. They helped me and my little one with choosing the right sling for us and learning to use it and also learnt lots about cloth nappies and how to yse t her m correctly ect, both work very very well for us now! And also their breastfeeding group was amazing and helped me get the confidence to continue breastfeeding when I was getting ready to give up at 6 weeks. I would Highly recommend going to bourne green!

Highly recommend Katy and Caroline for all things nappy and sling related. My stretchy sling Caroline recommended has been my best pregnancy purchase for so many reasons but mainly how easy it made it to get out the house for a walk in the early days. Caroline even showed me how to wrap my bump with it to help relieve back ache. Katy’s encyclopaedic knowledge of nappies is incredible. We are so lucky to have a nappy library on our doorstep but also to have someone like Katy who is so quick to respond when you need advice. We hired a newborn nappy kit and I’d recommend it to anyone.

A lovely little shop with friendly helpful staff.I borrowed a few slings and nappies from Caroline when my first baby had been born back in 2020.Roll on 2022 and with my second baby due I saw that Caroline had joined forces with Katy and opened up a shop. They provided me with a nappy bundle before my baby arrived and then once he was here I went in to try on a bunch of slings..with my first baby I bought a random ergo carrier and have never felt happy with it. So I decided to try a few out. I had a few ideas of ones I wanted to try and Caroline helped me and suggested other options too.I have also hired ear defenders at a great price for bonfire night.If you're having a baby soon and interested in nappies or slings etc, go and have a chat with them.

Thanks to Bourne green we have be able to use reusable nappies from day one. We used their newborn nappy hire kit which had everything we needed and they were always happy to help to answer my questions - thank you! Their free groups (birth and feeding groups) are also fantastic and bring the community together.

Super helpful and friendly, Katy & Caroline have been brilliant with sharing their experience to help us try out cloth nappies and slings. So far we have done a bump to baby package which was really insightful, a sling consult and loan which helped us choose the perfect sling for us, then a fit check to ensure we are both as comfortable as possible. We also did the newborn nappy hire kit and now hire a few different types, which was essential for us to get into cloth nappies. Both Caroline and Katy have been a huge part of our pregnancy and baby life journey so far and we are hugely grateful to them for sharing all their knowledge and always being on hand to answer any queries. Their shop is lovely to visit, just too tempting with all the exciting items they sell! It's great to have a proper look at everything as each item is a special investment, which you want to ensure suits you and your baby, so having their shop to visit is really important and lovely!

Caroline from the sling library come to my house and helped me find & fit the perfect carrier for me. It’s backpack style and I can tighten the straps without hurting my arms (I have injuries and no dexterity). Loaned one from them for next to nothing in the interim. I wish I could give more than 5*! I will recommend to EVERYONE. Thank you again

I’ve attended a couple of sling consultations at Bourne Green, one when my son was 8weeks and another at 6months. Caroline and Katy are so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. As a new mum they made me feel reassured and supported. We’re off on holiday with a new sling to try out and I’m feeling much more confident about travelling & making sure my son is comfortable at the airport. Thank you for all of your help!
