Myself and five friends came to a tour and tasting in August, which was brilliant. Charles was full of knowledge and we all really enjoyed the hands on approach to the tour - we didn't expect to get involved but it made it all the more interesting that we did. The wines we tried were great too, and the setting was beautiful. Would definitely recommend, a lovely way to spend a few hours!

What a great experience for anyone who is interested in wine. Charles, our host and guide (owner of the vineyard) was so interesting. He took us through the whole process from the growing of vines through to the bottling of the wine.We then tasted the wines with Charles taking us through the 5 stages of wine tasting. It was a great experience and I certainly have more of an appreciation and understanding for wine now.Thank you Charles for a great experience and for looking after us when we arrived early due to a bike malfunction. Your hospitality was much appreciated.

We visited as part of an organised tour, lunch and tasting and can honestly say having visited many vineyards this to date has been the most informative and interesting. Charles the owner has a truly hands on" approach and encouraged us to get involved with practical use of winemakers equipment. This is a small artisan winery and as such is fairly labour intensive and therefore gives a great insight into the "real" vine growing and winemaking process. Charles's ethos is to be as natural as possible in his winemaking and his passion and enthusiasm shined throughout our time with him. If you have an interest in wine

Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting experience - we decided to include the cheese platter pre wine tasting which was lovely .. especially the Cornish Yarg. The terrace overlooks the vines and it feels like you could be in Provence when the sun shines. It was great hearing first hand about growing vines and getting hands on before the wine tasting began. We tasted 2 whites, a rose and red and ended up treating ourselves to a few bottles. Would recommend.

Charles' tour was very informative and fun. He is very knowledgeable about the winemaking process and we got a good insight into his vineyard. The wine tasting was also a great experience and we came away having bought at least one of each variety.

I've been to a few wineries and vineyards, but the tour here was by far the best I've had. To borrow some words from Charles: 'Too often at places like these they talk at you for ages and you remember nothing.' The tour here was the exact opposite, very interesting and informative, and lovely wine to boot!

Absolutely wonderful and extremely informative vineyard tour. Charles was full of insight and knowledge about winemakers.The tasting was also an amazing learning experience, with the added bonus of delicious wines.Thoroughly recommend this for anyone in the area.

Charlie and Sue are two of the best people out there. Came upon this gem on our first trip to Cornwall and it made our day. They took us for a private tour / tasting and taught us everything there was to know about the 5 step process of tasting wine., Even let us sample some of the rose that wasn’t bottled yet. Beautiful grounds that shouldn’t be missed - i hesitate to write more so the crowds stay away!
