Reading through a lot of the reviews people have posted for Chris and can relate to them 100 per cent. Not just a coach but a mate, mentor and all round great person.Chris has inspired me to become a Personal Trainer where I can only hope to be the coach he is.Knowledgeable, professional, motivational, reliable.

I have been struggling with a chronic knee issue on foot of an injury a few years ago. I had been to a range of physiotherapists, consultants and podiatrists who had all formed their own views and provided treatment plans which did help me make some progress, but I was still in pain every day.I eventually spoke to Chris and he offered to help. After reviewing the notes of the work that had been done up to that point Chris very quickly identified the core problem and gave me some very simple exercises to address an underlying issue that was holding my recovery back.Chris's input has been invaluable; he has a great understanding of how the body works and that is backed up by his qualifications, experience and proven track record so far. Knowing that he has an honours degree in strength and conditioning as well as a masters degree in sports science gave me real confidence in his expertise.I know if I have any other issues in the future that I will get him in a lot sooner!

Chris is an exceptionally dedicated and knowledgeable coach. He truly cares about every one of his clients and caters to their goals and needs on an individual level. His passion for his work is evident in how much time he devotes to research and study in order to give the best he can to his clients. Chris is also very personable and approachable and will celebrate every win and work through every loss with his clients. I couldn't recommend him enough. He is a true powerhouse of strength training. If you want to be the best you need to hire the best and that's Strength Coach NI.

As a coach and strength athlete myself. I came to Chris to help hold myself accountable for my program and to get an outside perspective on my technique. He has been a great coach and a lot of fun to be trained by, he has helped my training and focus on so many levels. I can’t wait to have a long coaching and athlete relationship with him and I’m excited for future adventures.

When I decided to take powerlifting seriously, I identified Chris as the right coach for me to achieve my goals and ultimately achieve international selection (Which I achieved at the end of our first year working together) He’s skilled and experienced, yet continues to add to his knowledge base in order to provide the best for his clients.Would very much recommend him as a coach

Chris coached me during my peak for my first powerlifting competition and his programming was second to none! Very considerate of limitations with specific injuries. Would highly recommend Chris to anyone regardless of their sporting background! All while having the ability to have a laugh! Top class coaching and personality!

As a Physio and Strength & Conditioning Coach myself I came to Chris for some accountability and programming specifically to compete in powerlifting and to learn along the way!I’ve now been working with Chris for nearly 2 years. In these 2 years I’ve put on a decent bit of muscle and my strength has massively improved - all while staying injury free.Chris listens to my input and does some magic to piece together consistently great programming.I’ve also had a number of sessions with Chris in-person and his advice and feedback has always been beneficial and often spots/notices things that I may have missed.Even if you are a coach, or know how to train, and are serious about being the best & strongest version of yourself - Chris will take you to the next level and is (sometimes) good craic along the way.Hoping to have a few more years under Chris’ guidance and would recommend to anyone!

In the powerlifting world in Northern Ireland, where there are a lot of ‘coaches’ not at all worthy of the title, Chris is one of the very few who has really earned the title. I’ve been coached by Chris for almost three years and he’s been absolutely crucial to my progression - rehabilitating a horrific injury, keeping me motivated and on track, giving me excellent programming and meet day handling. He has a phenomenal track record with his lifters - not just helping his elites to international medals and podiums, but with every single lifter he takes on. Programming is personalised and backed by a wealth of knowledge he’s gained though learning and competing, he’s extremely supportive and honest when you need a coach to be! His meet day handling ability is also very strong, and his overall knowledge is practically unrivalled in NI.

I'm an endurance athlete who enjoys keeping on top of strength and conditioning work. Chris has been great helping with my introduction to Olympic weightlifting, despite not coming from a strength background.

Not a client of Chris’ but would see him lots in the gym and the amount of work you can see him putting into his clients and how thorough and genuine he is as a coach is so rare to see these days! When you get chatting to him you can see that even his ethic and approach to coaching and the industry is so genuine and you know that he just really loves what he does and that he constantly continues to invest himself into his business to keep growing! Such a great guy all round, couldn’t recommend him more.
