London Alpaca Farm

If you are looking for a visit to see alpacas, from a distance, surrounded by groups of people, for the briefest of glances, and extortionate prices, then this is NOT the place for you to visit.What you get is a private close-up encounter, with the most gorgeous well looked-after of creatures, that were very friendly and inquisitive, and an owner that is incredibly knowledgeable about them, where one group of people at a time get a good hour and a half to 2 hours direct contact with them.The entry was pre-booked as a Christmas present, offered in the form of a e gift card, redeemed through their website.The website shows some gifts that you can also purchase from them.I believe they accept groups of up to 8 people at a time, and children 6+, giving everyone ample opportunity to get up and close to these lovely animals.It was recommended that we arrived by taxi as there's no suitable place to park a normal car, unless the car is particularly designed for a rugged terrain. The owner then took us to the field where they are kept. And all the while engaging in friendly conversation. Also be aware it is a field. There are no toilets. The town of Epping has pubs if you arrive early and need a drink and a visit to the loo first. There is a local taxi firm by the station, but may be best to book in advance if you are a large group.I would thoroughly recommend a visit to see these animals at this location, and I would have no second thoughts about returning to see them again.

I had the opportunity to visit London Alpaca Farm with two friends and had an amazing time. The alpacas were so cute, we really enjoyed getting to feed and meet them. The owners of the farm were very lovely, friendly and good with communication. Booking our visit was a very smooth experience. We learnt a great deal about each alpaca and their personalities which was fun! They also educated us on alpaca lifestyle and the uses of alpaca fleece so it was both a interactive and informative experience. I would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again soon!

We had a great time with Sander, Vicky and Alpacas! The organization and preparation was very smooth and professional. Alpacas are very lovely and are so keen to learn and walk around. Highly recommend to everyone!

Had a wonderful evening! Zander was informative and answered all our questions. The alpacas were extremely well cared for and each had their only little character. We were also lucky to meet the 2 new babies. A great experience. Loved it!

We visited the alpaca farm over the weekend and can honestly say it was one of the top things we have done. Alpacas were some calm and welcoming and Hannah (our guide) knew so much about them. Two hours with the herd passed really quickly with us feeding them and learning about them. These are some the cutest alpacas and we would love to go back see them in winters as well. Highly recommended

I bought this “experience” as a birthday gift for my friend. First of all, there was no suitable slot for us so Sander & Vicky made an extra Sunday one for us, which was kind of them. You can tell that they look after the animals and don’t have too many visits, which got my attention when I was looking for this kind of farm. They were responding swiftly whenever I had a question before the visit. On the visit we had an amazing weather so we could enjoy the meeting with all the alpacas. Such a lovely animals. We got to learn interesting facts about these cute creatures, we had a chance to feed them and spend some time with them. I can highly recommend it! Thank you Sander (who was with us on that day), it was a lovely experience!

Alpacas are great, it's very relaxing to get to know them. The herd will surround you and slowly get to know you while all you can see is their fluffy bodies. They're very friendly. Sander was very enthusiastic as well as provided invaluable advice on how not to get spat on.

Amazing Alpacas!!! We had the best time on the private feeding visit. Sander is a great host and really knows his stuff! The alpacas are beautiful friendly and really well looked after. You can even rent wellies! It’s a tube ride from London and a 5 min Uber to the farm! Perfect day!

A wonderful, intimate, and fun-filled experience! Getting to feed and spend such a private and relaxed time with the Alpacas was incredible. Sander was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and really made our experience one to remember! He was also very accommodating and we felt like we got to know each Alpaca personally due to his knowledge of each one! The Alpacas are friendly, curious and very very cute. I took my boyfriend here as a belated birthday present as we are both obsessed with Alpacas since our trip to Peru and this made us feel like we were right back there again! It’s so nice to see the them happy and contented in their own element, the experience and site are done with great care and respect to the animals, we cannot wait to return! :)
