Wow! I bought my Francis Francis X1 15+ years ago, these guys services it and made it BETTER than new! When it came back it was like unboxing a new machine and of course, it performs perfectly. Money well spent.

I have recently had my FrancisFrancis X1 serviced by Glen and Chris at Craystone. They truly are a class act - here’s why…..I bought my reconditioned X1 from Craystone, it provided excellent service for 15 years, ( they were able to tell me when I had purchased it) eventually however my ‘old friend’ started to ‘tire’.I contacted the boys to discuss the practicality of servicing a machine of this age.There was no ‘hard sell’, I was advised of everything that would be carried out, reassured that I could expect many more years of reliable service and then provided with a detailed list of costings via email in order for me to make my final decision.Although I’d considered buying another brand as a replacement the X1 is an iconic, stylish, robust machine, most importantly of course, it makes great coffee!I decided to go ahead.I was kept informed of progress during the servicing process and when it was returned I was truly delighted with the work carried out, you would think it is a brand new machine and I assure you it is no longer ‘tired’.If you own a Francis Francis, need advice, replacement parts or simply need it serviced, and if you want proper, old fashioned customer care, it is without hesitation that I recommend you contact Glen and Chris at CRAYSTONE!Mark Williams

Really great service from these guys. My 12 year old machine looks and works like new after being fixed. Communication was good from the start - lots of information about how to package and ship - all seamless. Bit of a wait because they’re busy, but received a full report on the work that was carried out and it was sent back to me the day after I’d paid the (very reasonable) invoice. They worked wonders with it and now it’s as good as new, for a fair and competitive price.
