Surrey County Council

My wife and I held our recent wedding at Surrey County Hall and really could not have been happier with our experience. Although everything at the venue really was perfect, there were a few areas that were particularly outstanding:1. Bernice and her team were absolutely amazing! Without going into too much detail, we had some last minute drama 36 hours before the wedding was due to take place, and the team at County Hall were so incredibly supportive and really went above and beyond to make sure our day would be just as we wanted it to be. We really cannot thank them enough.2. The running of the event was absolutely seamless, and that is, again, due to Bernice and her team. There wasn’t a single time during the day that we had to think about what was happening, and whether everything we needed had been organised. This then allowed us to be more ‘present’ during our wedding day, and gave us the capacity to enjoy the day and spend time with our guests.3. The actual venue itself is stunning. We got married in the council chambers, a really beautiful room full of gravitas and a unique character. The main hall and its stained glass windows are amazing, and the room looked beautiful, both during the day and also when transformed ready for the evening reception. If you want to get married in a place that is simultaneously unique but also full of history, then this is the venue for you!We’d like to say another huge thank you to Bernice, who really made planning this wedding a lot less stressful than it could have been. She was always on hand to answer every one of our questions, both the big and the small. She does such an amazing job, which deserves to be recognised. We 100% recommend choosing Bernice and Surrey County Hall as a wedding venue!

Great place with helpful staff members.

One of the guys pick up the phone when I was speaking he put the phone down and I will cut it off rubbish never come back again or reporting bad road I don't care if it is unsafe because they don't care about my call!

This is a wonderfully impressive building and such an amazing place to be the new civic heart of our county. The grounds are also completely stunning. It must be a great place to work and attend as a member of the council.

County hall is a bit of an old building. Also unusual that it's outside of Surrey county council. Not the easiest place to find on Google maps because it's not called Kingston town hall, yet gets referred to as just that. Decent canteen, nice coffee shop.
