A nice variety of formal and natural gardens to explore. Really liked all the sculptures hidden around and about the place. Worth the £7 entry fee but be warned!! It's CASH only.

Very good showing of various late winter plants.LOADS of snowdrops. Best quantities I have seen to date anywhere.Various small and medium size sculptures scattered around the property. My photos show but a few.Set aside 3 hours plus if you are planning to do these gardens justice. Not a good place for small children (unless they are into gardens).Free off road parking.Toilet facilities.Wheelchair access.Tea/coffee shop.If this review is helpful please press like.

We went with my disabled wheelchair bound mum to see the snowdrops beginning February 2022.The snowdrops and aconite are beautiful and so so many of them. The gardens are lovely with lots of sculptures and as a family we enjoyed our 3 hour visit. The cafe serves simple but good food. On the day we went they were serving 2 different soups (one vegan and one veggie with a nice wholegrain roll - see photos) and 2 other hot small meals. All in recyclable containers. Also about 5 different yummy cakes and scones, jam and cream (a family member has an allergy and on the day we went all cakes were a 'main contain' for nuts).Just a note if you use a wheelchair, it's not that easy to access and you may need to ask to park in the disabled parking spaces (on grass) as they are not waymarked. There is also an alternative route into the main garden which avoids stepping stones and a high metal step, if you ask. Also you can avoid the steep bridge by using Adrian's walk. The paths are mostly gravel, grass or woodchip, see photos. Clean and nice disabled toilet up a slight lip and ramp.

Chippenham Gardens is a great garden to visit for snowdrops, I would say a little expensive for entry. Worth a walk about for a couple of hours Has a large coffee shop which I did not sample. Shame they don't allow you to picnic

A pure delight. One of the best gardens we've seen, full of so many ideas. The snowdrops are simply stunning, great swathes of them. The whole place beautifully kept. The Leylandii hedge is a masterpiece (sic). A must-see for any serious garden enthusiast. It looks as if they are also a wedding venue, it is a fantastic setting for this.

Excellent. Plenty of walks. Walk as little or much as you want. Beautiful display of snow drops. Absolute carpets of them. Lovely walk by the lake. Lots of statues dotted about. Finished up at the Potting Shed café. Very enjoyable hot dog and drink. Plus a rest. Money well spent. It's a partner garden of RHS so of you are a member of them free entry. Otherwise £7 for an adult.

A new place for us but we hope to return on another open day as the gardens are a delight. Apart from wonderful gardens and trees, there was so much bitdlife and more and different butterflies than I have seen in one place for ages.

Beautiful spring garden.Delightful displays of daffodils, hellebores & cherry blossom. Wide variety of garden sculptures - some quirky & humorous!Gardeners friendly, knowledgeable & informative.Café strongly recommended: excellent choice of soup with a vegan option (tomato & basil or Indonesian chickpea & tomato) & fantastic homemade cakes (we chose a mixed citrus cake and carrot cake).Something of a hidden gem.

Beautiful gardens, visited here countless times. Beautiful drive onto grounds, lots of parking, not overly pram friendly due to bark and stone chip walks, but doable, easier to have baby in carrier. So many different areas, bridges over water, lakes, grassy hedges, hills and large rocks for kids to climb. Beautiful flower trails. Lovely little cafe at entrance the does hot and cold drinks, cakes and small selection of warm food. Toilets very clean. Highly recommend also keep am eye on website for different time of year openings to see different flowers. Beautifully maintained grounds.
