The Treehouse Tea Room
Some friends and I had the festive afternoon tea recently. The food was scrumptious, there was a lovely selection of sandwiches, delicious assortment of pastries and freshly baked cakes, and as many cups of tea as we needed. The staff are so friendly & obliging, nothing is too much trouble. Well worth the money when you consider what some cafés charge.

What a lovely little place! I was meeting a former work colleague for lunch at a restaurant that turned out to be closed. We needed somewhere else to eat in a hurry and found this: couldn't have done any better if we'd looked all day. The room is pleasantly set out, plenty of choice, friendly staff, tasty meals, sensible portion sizes but silly prices - guys, you are robbing yourselves! I know you've got competition in the town centre from other places offering light lunches but no-one's going to go back to Cafe Nero and similar dives once they've discovered you. I just worry that once the word gets around you might need larger premises, but that will be a nice problem to have.

went for afternoon tea and was provided with a fully vegan/plant-based one, was absolutely delicious and the staff are so extremely friendly and accommodating

i visited lulus gift store, and was surprised to discover this lovely little hidden gem of a cafe upstairs. I had a warmed scone with a cup of tea, and enjoyed the views outside. staff are lovely. I will be making regular visits here
