Dreadful love the way they review themselves. Accessible not still waiting for a will too be finalized 4 years on. Basically will take your money and ghost you. Please spare yourself the nightmare I'm still enduring.

Awful experience on behalf of my father from start to finish. They couldn’t even get my name or address correct on legal documents, and trying to get a reply to an email was like pulling teeth. In fact, it’s been months and I’m still waiting.

A successful conclusion was achieved to an unpleasant boundary dispute, guided by Mr Gowling and his staff. His expertise and understanding of the problem made it a pleasure to work with him.

Acted as executor to my late mother. Complaint to the ombudsman for over charging and incorrectly calculating fees was upheld and remedy of £10,443.64 awarded. Took them 9 months to pay it. Under the freedom of information act I have been given a list of 12 other complaints, of which 10 fall under wills and probate. The total awards amount to over £30,000.Settled my mothers estate 4 years ago and retained part of the estate. Have repeatedly ignored all requests to return it.Threatened my sister with court action unless she withdrew her review.

At such a difficult time in my life, I was glad that my mother had employed the services of Wayman & Long. They were efficient, compassionate, and highly professional, which meant that all matters relating to mum's estate were dealt with and finalised in a timely manner and without incident. I was particularly impressed with Phil, who worked in a very person-centred manner, ensuring the needs of all beneficiaries and the wishes of my mum were met throughout. I can honestly recommend Wayman & Long without hesitation.

Beware of 5-star reviews that appear right after this complaint. My mother was battling cancer and wanted everything in order to lessen stress for the family. Unfortunately, she appointed Wayman and Long as executors for the beneficiaries. They restricted our access to her property, resulting in her once beautiful grade 2 listed property and gardens becoming neglected. They billed £39,094.65 for their services. Even after my mother's passing in 2017, they still hold part of the estate. I initially posted a 1-star review in 2020, and they later threatened me to take it down or face legal action. Thankfully, our family was awarded for the overcharge by the SRA, but it took several months to recover the funds, and they delayed payment for an additional 4 months. This is solely my own personal review and experience with Wayman.
