A beautiful little Kirk set in lovely grounds very romantic place to get married

This weekend I experienced a wedding that had everything. Food amazing venue amazing and the maitre d’ made sure everything smoothly. The staff could not do anymore for you. And the chapel just wow !!

Unfortunately I could not schedule a tour and I am very disappointed. I am an Outlander-Fan and came over from Germany to visit most of the main places. I tried to call the owners and left a message...no answer...I wrote E-Mails twice...no answer. Now, my holiday is over! I could read that the owners don't mind and would like to take you for a look around...I have just been ignored and well...one Star and just to be able to place this review! Thanx for absolutely nothing at all !!!

Glencose Kirk is located at this estate. For Outlander fans, this is the church Jamie and Claire were married. The church has been rebuilt by the owners. It is usually a wedding venue, but you can schedule a tour. Built in 1565. There are gravestones and possibly a crypt.

Sarah was so friendly and had so many inside stories about Outlander filming there. Loved it!

Firstly, What a sublime venue.I’ve attended a family wedding as well as a friends wedding at Glencorse.The experience was absolutely first class.From initial introductions for the family wedding with the Glencorse team, to the moment we left.No matter what we requested, nothing was ever an issue, in fact Alasdair, Sarah, Paul and the team went above and beyond to accommodate us, at the planning stage and on the day.Oh I almost forgot, my sister stayed in the lodge house in the grounds. A wonderful homely experience was had by her family.The Kirk is just sublime and totally unique, it really set the scene for the family and guests.I Would wholeheartedly recommend Glencorse Kirk and Wedding Venue for your big day.

We got married at Glencorse House last weekend and had the best day! The Kirk was a truly stunning venue for our ceremony and the marquee and surroundings were a beautiful backdrop for the reception. Sarah, the wedding coordinator set up all our decorations for us, reducing stress levels in the days leading up to the Big Day. She was also amazing on the day at overseeing everything! Blackberry Cuisine, their exclusive caterer was also fantastic. In particular, Paul, the Caterer was a pleasure to deal with in the lead up to the event and the food on the day was delicious! Thank you again for the most spectacular of days!

Getting married here? READ THIS FIRST! I play in a ceilidh band (The Jiggers) and we play at weddings and discos in venues all around Scotland including at Glencorse House. If you're looking for a place that is convenient, rural, secluded enough that you have the place to yourself, and just a well-run wedding venue, then Glencorse is a great venue to consider. The marquee is well-warmed, in nice surroundings and with excellent staff- spacious but cosy, we LOVE playing here because we are always made so welcome, and the venue sounds great as well (marquees just have a great acoustic). Sarah the wedding coordinator keeps things running smoothly and the food is lovely. Kitchen staff are accommodating and friendly, so you just get a good vibe from start to finish. Your wedding will be a really fun day if you have it at Glencorse House.
