The Art School Restaurant
This restaurant isn't perfect, but I think it comes pretty close to it.The staff were amazing and were able to accommodate both of my friends' fussy food quirks and still managed to create delicious food. (You tell me how you can make flavourful dishes without using any onions or garlic!)The soufflé was utterly sublime... rich, light and packed full of umami. I'm not exaggerating when I say that upon the first mouthfull, I had to take a moment with my eyes closed just to savour that flavour... I must have looked like a right weirdo!The *only* complaint I have for the whole evening was that after the three of us were sent into rapturous bliss by the menu, we were brought back to earth by desserts that were... pretty good, not bad. At any other place, they might have been the highlight, but here, they fell a little flat.Finally, the service was excellent, I don't think I can describe it better than one companion who said, They treat you like a queen.""

Had the most wonderful introduction to Michelin standard eating. Wonderfully cooked, original tasting food, which was very good value. A real treat.

I had a lovely experience here with my partner for our anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I had the vegan excellence menu and was very satisfied with everything I ate. The summer salad was the best little salad I’ve ever had, the flavours went so well together with the combination of fruit and veg.

Gorgeous dining area, friendly staff and amazing food. Everything was perfect although I felt like the menu could be cheaper, is it a little pricy compared to other restaurants that offer this kind of experience.

An absolutely fantastic visit from start to finish! Everything from the food, decor, staff and atmosphere were 10/10 we will be back! You cant put this place or its food into words, you just have to go and experience the excellence for yourself. I've eaten in the main restaurant and the cellars before today and the food is always fabulous. Afternoon tea this afternoon was a lovely treat after receiving a gift voucher for mother's day. It was so tasty and fresh and the prosecco very drinkable! The gentleman who served us (from Athens) was spot on. Friendly, professional and a warm personality. Highly recommend this beautiful place. An hour or two of class!

What an amazing experience, so much more than just a meal out.Each course was beautifully presented and tasted just as good.The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble.If you’re visiting Liverpool and lucky enough to get a table here you will not be disappointed

5 star experience across food, service, and atmosphere! I booked the Moriarty Room for a business lunch. From enquiry to execution, the team was professional, responsive and very helpful. They helped me print name tags for the seating plan, arranged the table setting as per instructions and followed all dietary requirements with great attention to detail. The food was amazing as well. Thank you for the incredible experience! A big shoutout to the excellent service and impeccable team ❤️

Top class meal from fixe price menu. Excellent value for the quality served. Lovely atmosphere and marvellous service. Great bar area downstairs for post-meal drinks. Can't wait to visit again.
