I took a CCNA course with Commsupport Networks way back in 2009 and passed the end lab exams. I passed my CCNA 640-802 a few months later! Joe the instructor is very knowledgeable in the networking field, and this becomes noticeable early on in the training. But I think what set Joe apart from the rest in my opinion was his teaching style, and patience when assisting a newbie in learning/grasping network technologies and protocols. The daily banter made it very enjoyable, and I would look forward to the next day of training.Fully credible training here, and I would recommend Commsupport any day of the week or year!

Joe is a fantastic tutor. I am sure that no one will get bored in any of his teaching sessions . Course was very interesting. His techincal knowledge is fantastic. His study material is too good. His videos explains technicality very well. I am glad I had him as my tutor. I have not passed my CCNA yet but I am sure i will clear it very soon. I can only watch Joe's training videos as i can't standby american accent. I found Joe's video much better than CBT nuggets. His drawings in his training videos are very neat. Thanks Joe. Kind Regards, Jigisha

A few years back, we recruited a Cisco engineer from a local competitor and he recommended that we use the company where he received his training. Since then, a further 6 of our technicians have since received training from Commsupport to the highest of standards and I would highly recommend their services to others.

I would recommend Commsupport to anyone wanting to get into and developing their career in networking. Joe is a top class instructor, he is very knowledgeable, brings real life experience into the classroom and makes the subject interesting and fun. I passed my CCNA last year thanks to Commsupport, I also put in a lot of hard work and dedication. The course filled gaps in my knowledge and developed my practical skills which would have been difficult to gain through self-study.Doing the labs make the knowledge you are learning meaningful and gives you a deeper understanding of the technology. The challenge labs Joe sets are brilliant as it's a way to test if you know your stuff and at times a pain when you get stuck. It's times like this that you dig deep and push yourself further. Finally, having someone like Joe to point out certain things when you are stuck in troubleshooting or explain concepts to you in different ways till you get it" is invaluable."

I've been on a few courses with Commsupport both in class and online and I have to say this is by far the best training provider I have ever used. Be prepared for long days, homework, tough troubleshooting sessions (borderline evil!) and fun all rolled into one course. You'll deal with real world scenarios from a trainer that works in the real world and out of the many different IT courses I've done with other providers, those I've done with Commsupport have left me with the greatest understanding of the course material. Thanks again for all your help, will definitely use again and would recommend to anyone wanting to further themselves as a network engineer.

From the moment I began my training I have been overjoyed with the training provided. The course material has everything needed to complete my CCNA from information, labs and tests. The Lab equipment and training exercises are a great addition to the excellent classroom tuition that Joe provided. During the course itself Joe was professional and extremely knowledgable- no question however small was quickly answered and presented in a way that you really understood the reason for something being the way it was.Joes weekly webinar is always informative and fun, it's always a shame when I don't make them.Overall the course was comprehensive and professional. It covered everything it needed to and more, I look forward to attending more in the future.

I've completed COMMSUPPORT's 6 day intensive CCNA course awhile ago, and I would like to give my 2 cents to to help others thinking of doing the course, I know when I was researching before I signed up I checked on certforums and would like to think my comments below would help others.A little bit of backgroundI originally looked into the CCNA about 4 years ago before I worked in IT; I called COMMSUPPORT and spoke with someone there about the course explaining that I was looking to make a start in IT. I was told not to do the CCNA as it would not help me get a start; especially with no experience. I instead went away did the Comptia A+ and Network +, got my 'break' in IT and currently work as a Senior Support Analyst for a global luxury retailer. Cisco is about 40% of my work load and I felt I wanted to do the course/cert to get a good base level of skill to move forward.First ImpressionsJoe runs the company and teaches the majority of the classes, in our case he was our teacher. He's a very down to earth, funny outspoken guy who doesn't mix is words. You can tell he loves to teach, he's got a whole heap of analogies and metaphors to teach concepts to you, and made some of the complex subjects much easier to swallow.Layout of the class / labAs promised each student had 4 x Cisco ISR routers and 3 x Switches one of them was a Layer 3 switch. This allowed us all to get on with the labs when it came to do the practical application of what we were taught. Generally Joe would go over a subject first on the board explaining the concept, then switching to his lab putting it on screen and going through and showing us examples of the concepts discussed put into practice, then giving us a 'lab' exercise with the concept to work on ourselves. The course as you might imagine is INTENSIVE, it's a 6 day course covering the CCNA so don't expect to have your hand held for too long. I would HIGHLY recommend you attend the course having done a basic networking course and have already read the CCNA material so you know the basic concepts and ideas, and if you can some experience of working with Cisco kit will go a long way. If you turn up thinking a quick skim through the books will be enough then you will get left behind early on.Joe teaches you networking, i.e implementing the various concepts on the kit and showing how to be a network engineer. He doesn't 'teach' you the CCNA exam or stick to a specific syllabus. He will show you a subject, explain how it works and then build on the subject or example to show how to implement it in a production environment, and build on it further to CCNP or CCIE level if it helps to show you what's possible. It's tough and you need to keep your wits about you to keep up but it really helps. The SonOfABitch assessment lab Joe gave us on the last day was a lot of fun to do, felt very happy when I got it up ;)Sub-nettingI was pretty sceptical when I saw Joe's chicken video as I thought he was teaching me to suck eggs (...get it? ... never mind), BUT having gone through it in class and practising it at home, I have to say JOE IS A GENIUS at teaching sub-netting. Like he says sub-netting is easy if you break it down and let go of all the other crap people teach you. I can now subnet, not too fast because I'm crap at maths, but I know how to get the answer.OverallI'm very happy with the course, it was tougher than I had anticipated but I was lucky I had some experience to help me out. I would recommend the course to those who are looking to do the CCNA and will certainly return if I wanted to do other courses Joe offers.I took the exam about a week after the course and passed the CCNA combined test, very happy.

Before relocating from London to Denmark I wanted to ensure I had some training behind me to make me more employable over here. Commsupport came highly recommended by a friend and I booked straight onto it the following week. The weekend before I sat in on the free introduction day to networking, which was well worth the Sunday afternoon studying! Joe has an incredible knowledge of networking and he teaches it with such passion that it's impossible for it to not rub off onto you too. All of the sessions are recorded and available at the end of the week, so you can go back through them at your own pace, the ability to see the kit live in the classroom is great and the labs that Joe has worked on over the years are unparalleled...The after course care is also worth noting, Joe has allowed me to reconnect to labs when they're free, as with any busy life you can't always find the perfect time to study and Commsupport have been very accommodating of this fact!Highly recommend them!

Mr Tom here, CommSupportNetworks are the real deal. Joe Spoto and Co are the best guys ever!!! Without you I would still be stuck as a 2nd line engineer but now I am a 3rd line engineer making a sweet £40k .Joe has so much knowledge on the subject of Cisco it is unreal. I believe Joe even hadreams about Cisco comamnds. His courses were excellent from start to finish, be warned that they do go on past 7pm every night. You get a decent workbook of commands to take away with you, not the standard Cisco classroom rubbish but real world commands that have been tested and tried. He even gives you trouble shooting guides and real world problems to fix. There is additional training after the course has finished, kind of like refreshers on the main topics. These are given via on-line live presentations, where you can ask real questions and get back answers. There is even free re-training should you free the need to re-attend the classroom lectures. If you are in doubt about booking a course please don't I am proof that any idiot with Joe's help can pass the CCNA/CCNP exams.

Commsupport offer a unique IT learning experience - unique because it's actually fun. Joe really knows his stuff when it comes to Cisco, and the value of the learning package seems to be unequalled in the UK. The Finchley site offers easy access and you can even park nearby for free (if you don't mind a bit of a walk). Joe will educate and entertain you in equal measure but DO complete the home assignments before you arrive if you want to get the best value from the fast-paced courses. The course materials supplied are comprehensive and the labs cover lots of 'real world' examples. Highly recommended.
