I have eaten from the early bird menu & had a carvery on Sunday. Both meals were very enjoyable. Great home cooked meals. Will continue to eat here.

Been tonight for the Monday Madness menu and I couldn't fault it. The food was tasty and hot. The service was very quick and efficient. Couldn't fault it and looking forward to going back

Fantastic home cooked food! The Early Bird Menu is great value for money ......varied menu, large portions, & piping hot tasty food.Home made hand cut chips are gorgeous!Best fish & chips ever!Also lovely home made curries, which can be 'spiced up' if required!!Staff are amazing ...... really friendly & helpful.Reataurant always beautifully set out, & is ideal for special occasions.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have visited this place many times but today I was badly let down not by the sevice I had, but by the kitchen. Today I brought my two sisters and husband for dinner at 5 pm, at two meals for £17:99. I aways have the cod, at a supplement cost, and pushed this towards my sisters explaining the size and quality of this fish and the batter is amazing. But NOT this time. On ordering we were informed they only had one tikka, one mixed grill and so on, which caused a rethink as two persons were going for the tika, so one of my sisters decided on the chicken pasta only to be told 5 minutes later they had no pasta either, so she decided on the cod. When our meals arrived the fish was half the size that I have been used to over the past two years. In fact it looked as if they had only one fish left and had cut it into two much smaller portions, ie a fish bite size. After eating my dinner I had to mention how disappointed I was, after seeing the usual size fish I was accustomed to going to another table. We were both offered another fish which was declined. This shouldn't have happened as I didn't complain to get a reduction in my bill or a Freeby, but just to let them know it wasn't acceptable to vary the size of fish from one table to the next.

Called for lunch. Food was very good - one of the best burgers I’ve had. Service was a little slow but worth the wait. Don’t know about atmosphere because no one else was in.

Been going here regularly now since my birthday in January. The food is always cooked. Fresh, delicious. Good price, and the staff is lovely. X

Whether eating, drinking or both, friendly atmosphere, plenty of choice on food beer and spirits. Seating can sometimes be limited in the main bar area but there is another room near the resturant that has plenty of seating.

Excellent food , more than enough to stop me wanting a dessert! We dined on the offer 2 for £17 which is available Mondsy to Friday, 5.0pm to 6.45 pm. Highly recommended, you need to book.
