My husband bought me a pair of OB17 waterproof panniers from Easy Pedal Bikes last Christmas. They were great value. I have used them all year and they have kept my belongings safe and dry. They look like they will last for years to come. Brilliant!

Great service from Richard who really knows his stuff. He really went the extra mile to get my bike back on the road quickly. I wouldn't go anywhere else - and very reasonable too. Nice to have a personal touch.

Richard promised to service my bike for me when I brought it back from Portugal, knowing that I’d only be back for a few days. He struggled to remember who I was from the start by email & when I turned up as arranged he was surprised to see me. As soon as I got there he said for variety of reasons he would not be able to do the work required, surprise hospital appointment, didn’t know how the system worked...despite me sending him photos of the bike & telling him what was required. I had no choice as I was short of time but to have the front brake & the chain sorted by him. Took the bike out for the first time today to find that the back brake now doesn’t work (it did when it went in), making it not only unusable but dangerous. As far as he was concerned the bike, which had I admit been through the wars was scrap & he clearly didn’t want to work on it. Having now taken it to a proper bike mechanic it works perfectly.A waste of time & money would be bad enough but to leave the bike in a dangerous condition is unacceptable.

I was required by the manufacturer to bring my bike here for a service. I was quoted 3 hours and £50. In all it took 6.5 hours and was £100. Ah well, I thought. At least it's done. Day 1, the motor stopped working. The gear cable wasn't set nearly correctly. Richard also announced, while on the phone trying to fix the motor, that he'd left a piece of my bike on his workshop floor. No offer of returning it. Day 2, and spokes started falling from the rear wheel. I called the manufacturer who were so horrified they compensated me £300. Currently waiting for the entire rear wheel to be replaced at a different bike mechanic, at the cost of £100. Also had to void the warranty as easy pedal bikes was the only dealer for my type of bike in this area. No idea what happened, but my experience was appalling. I'm sorry Richard, I normally only leave positive reviews, but my bike was returned to me in a dangerous state.Edit to reply: not checked to make sure they're fully reassembled though? What happened to the part you found on your workshop floor? Still no offer of return.

I absolutely love my new bike and the service from Easy Pedal Bikes has been first class. Richard really knows his stuff and takes so much care. If you want friendly, personal service from bike experts at reasonable prices, look no further.

Excellent service, really helpful and couldn't recommend Richard and Dorian enough. Great to have a truly local bike shop.
