I was co-founder of The Big Room project at Heswall Hall, a project to breathe new life into a dusty old community hall and to generate income for traditional community events held at the Hall. Today, Heswall Hall is a leading music, comedy and events venue.We couldn’t have been successful without the considerable help of Stage UK who provided us with lots of help and advice as well as lighting hire for ambitious rock concerts.In 2021, the Hall made a major investment (£300K+) in a complete refurbishment of the large stage, infrastructure, new lighting systems and PA system, with Stage UK delivering the entire turnkey project under covid safe conditions and despite a number of “issues” thrown up by the client, mid-project.I have no hesitation in recommending Stage UK and its staff. They are totally committed and part of the team. Stage UK now supply lighting configuration/programming for the Hall’s bigger performances as well as operating the lighting rig on the night, working alongside the Hall’s own resident sound engineer/stage manager.

Hired so much kit from these guys, from a few lights for a wedding to kit being used on the Liverpool everyman theatre the service is always the brilliant same no matter how much.
