I asked Jamie at JF Planning to help with a certificate of lawful development in The Park conservation area (Nottingham). I found Jamie to be extremely professional, knowledgeable, and he kept me updated throughout the process. The report was submitted to the council in only a couple of weeks.

Jamie has provided me with planning advice on several projects over the past few years:- A kitchen/dining extension in Kegworth, Derby.- An objection to a neighbours obtrusive Loft extension near Holmes Chapel, Cheshire.- Advising on planning status and building control matters re: an existing porch in Stansted, Essex.- Application, pursuit and achievement of two separate planning permissions for new fences and gates to 2 properties in the Stansted Mountfitchet Conservation Area.Jamie is personable and pragmatic in his approach, knows and understands the planning system and how to optimally steer through it; interfacing efficiently with local planning authorities and officers. I needed help with planning for a new fence line on my property.I had looked at doing it myself, but even with the guides you find online it proved to be constant pitfalls and hurdles.Jamie ( JF planning ) helped sort all those issues out. We were recommended to use JFP (Jamie) by another village resident who had had a very positive experience with him. Jamie is easy to engage with, patient and good at listening while equally keen to offer suggestions or alternatives to design aspects which assist with your application and are broadly in keeping with expectations of the local planners. After a couple of on site meetings, Jamie provided a draft of the submission statement for us to review and comment on. The statement was impressive and I can see why using a planning consultant smoothed the way through the application process. I doubt many homeowners would have the experience or knowledge to write statements as inclusive as he provided. Once the submission was made and we had paid the fee directly to council, Jamie managed the process from there through to completion, including minor amendments. The payment breakdown for JFP was very clear and payments easily made via bank transfer. As such I would not hesitate to use JFP again or recommend his services to others.
