Our 30 year old hard wood conservatory was showing its age; glass panels had become misty; timber cills were rotting in places; it had begun to leak in a storm. Donald advised a complete refurbishment with new argon gas filled glazing and gave us a quote after a thorough inspection …we took a gamble… it was well worth it. Mark and Shaun, the tradesmen who worked like Trojans for three weeks, were skilled neat and tidy and a pleasure to have around. They did an immaculate job of replacing and repairing timber, servicing windows to make sure everything fitted snugly and replacing tired brass fittings. They take pride in their work and we can now be proud of our conservatory!

Only company in the UK that can refurbish wooden-clad orangeries or conservatories. They did a fantastic job, despite the freezing cold and/or torrential rain over winter. The team is dedicated and professional and take pride in their work.

It is extremely rare to find a conservatory refurbishment company in the UK so when I found Conservatory Refurbishments Ltd I was so relieved that these services still exist. The alternative was to tear down and rebuild at an extortionate cost which was not an option. Every single tradesperson they supplied was not simply very skilled and considerate but my overall takeaway is that this company has the most obliging and respectful employees I have ever encountered. They were professional and polite and I enjoyed the time they were at the property - they were always mindful that we work from home and accommodated all of our requests throughout. In addition, the company founder is incredibly responsive in terms of communication and promptly answered emails etc even outside of normal business hours - again I've never encountered this before. The results speak for themselves, I am grateful to their glass fitters, carpenters, painters and valeters all of whom delivered a fantastic experience and a beautiful, cost-effective result. If you need your conservatory restored and refurbished, I hope this is a useful endorsement for you and saves you the time and effort of an exhaustive search - most companies will only replace the glass, this one delivers the complete package and offers a 10-year guarantee. Very impressed with this company. My badly-neglected conservatory needed a lot of TLC. Was given sensible advice on what was needed. The written quote detailed the work to be done, start date and length of time needed, and payment schedule (new roof and gutters, new patio doors and replacement of rotting sections of wood). All work started and finished on time, painted and cleaned, all debris removed. The fitters (Ali, Anton and Jack) were friendly and efficient. 10 year warranty.

Their warranty doesn't mean a thing - if they fold the company and are not around to honour it. Donald Minchin has been the director of several failed companies. Fargil. Fargil UK Limited. Fargil Steam and Clean Limited. Call it whatever you want - this company is just another one to add to the list of rip off companies that this guy trades as. The work is amateur at best and the staff turnover rate is higher than the Burj Khalifa. Once he sold us the job - the only time we ever heard from him again was to collect money. He can't even be bothered to quality check the work and oversee the monkeys he employs (which, by the way carry out the bare minimum needed to say 'that's watertight now' - even though 6 weeks later we are filling buckets on the floor!). SHODDY SHODDY SHODDY. AVOID.

Great job done by a really nice bunch of lads,very professional,friendly & considerate from start to finish. I now have a brand new leak proof conservatory roof and the whole conservatory is gleaming after a complete valet,so glad I found someone local,would not hesitate to recommend

Roof replacement for utility/conservatory completed in October. Initial, fully detailed, written quote was supplied after a site visit and survey. Other companies approached for quote were giving numbers sight unseen or from photographs only. As our property is over 100 years old we felt it important that the building/roofing that the utility/conservatory is attached to was properly surveyed along with the roof to be replaced. Quote was competitive and we were confident that it was made on the basis of a comprehensive survey. Team of fitters arrived on agreed date at agreed time and put in full days of work with site tidied up at end of day each day. Team were very polite and professional and very friendly to talk to. As previously noted ours is an older property and a couple of unexpected issues around the state of the walls and the roof drainage emerged as work progressed. The team took these in their stride and engineered appropriate fixes. This probably led to an extra days work but the original quote was honored without any quibbling. On completion of works all debris was removed, site tidied and utility/conservatory valeted to look like new. Full 10 year warranty documentation was delivered shorty thereafter.The lead joiner has a lot of experience with older properties, including renovation of his own, and very kindly pointed out several issues we should probably look into. None of these issues are anything the company deal with and the advice was a courtesy rather than a sales pitch which was very much appreciated.Since completion of works we've had several very heavy rainfall days during 'named' storms with no problems whatsoever, a nice change from our previous situation of overflowing buckets placed under various leaks.All in all this was a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this company or use their services again in future.
