I am so disappointed. We had a Chinese here on Sunday 2nd July. The next day was my 30th wedding anniversary and we’d planned a day/night away. It was completely ruined by food poisoning. All 4 of us that ate the Chinese have been poorly some more than others. Golden Sands need to do better with their hygiene. If there is a problem with flies SORT it out. Our whole time away we have been sick and we still feel poorly. Not good enough !!

Both chow mien dishes had no taste, the beef one had only 6 small pieces of beef in it. Very poor, like someone forgot to add the flavour.

We have had many takeaways from here now and they have been the tastiest Chinese we've ever had the large portions are hot and delicious we live in latchingdon but will order from here from now on. What lovely people who deliver too. Can't wait for our next order

I really like the food here. The problem is fruit flies. You can see them everywhere while waiting for your food. I tried to pretend I hadn't seen them as I like the food here so much, but, inevitably I suppose, I did have a dead one in my rice. Luckily I was looking out for them because of what I'd seen in the shop and so didn't eat it, but I wonder how many customers have eaten them? As they are small I would guess they are often not seen. Haven't been able to eat back here since, too gross.
