Mama's Wok

First time ordering from Mama's wok due to my usual chinese being closed.. I'm pleasantly surprised by the food's quality and quantity. The curry was lovely just a nice spice to it and the chicken chow mein was very tasty! We will definitely be coming back again!

First time trying this place and it will be the last. Ordered online and after an hour I had not received my order. I called them and was told they had not received my order even though they had taken money out my account. I was then told to wait until the person took 2 other orders before coming back on the phone to me. She finally took my order again over the phone and told me to show thedelivery driver proof of my payment. Another hour later my order finally arrived cold. The driver asked to see proof of payment so showed him the transaction on my on line banking. He advised he was supposed to take photos etc off the payment but as he had seen it with his own eyes it was fine. Basically i was been made out to be a lier by the shop. I received no apology from the shop and after a 2 hr wait the food was disgusting. Avoid this place like the plague

Came to Mamas Wok for first time as few of my friends have been raving about it.Ordered salt and chilli wings, wings were nice and juicy and salt n chilli mix coated the wings perfectly, it was delicious.For my main I asked for a dish that wasn’t on menu and the staff where happy to make for me. Ordered beef stir fry ho fan noodles with a portion of curry sauce and it was awesome. The beef was so tender that it literally melt in your mouth and the curry, wow just perfect.Can’t wait to come back for my next fix. Def highly recommend

First time here after reading reviews,ordered breast of chicken,chopped,no onions curry and boiled rice , I have been eating Chinese curries for 40+ years and this was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! Plenty of chicken(mouthwatering!),enough for two meals,pricing perfect.if I could give 10 stars I would. I will not be going anywhere else,staff first class,

Just visited this takeaway for the first time, ordered a munchy box. Opened it at home 1st impressions looked good until eating some salt and pepper chicken to find a hair actually cooked through the batter. Absolutely disgusted and phoned the takeaway to be told they would replace it, the 5 mins later received a phone call to say they had changed their mind and would give us a discount the next time we were in. Needless to say we won't be getting that discount as we will never use them again. Appalling food and Appalling service. How this place has good reviews is absolutely beyond me. Stay clear. You have been warned.

Ordered many times from Mamas Wok now and the food and service is great. The staff are very friendly too. The chicken is Halal and staff makes sure there is no cross contamination. The shredded chicken, Salt & Chill Chicken wing's and Chips were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!!!!

Food was fantastic and the staff behind the counter were nice and friendly.

Tried tonight since a flyer came through the door and have to say it's the best Chinese I've had in ages!So glad there's now a decent one in the area, the old golden sea was dreadful and Sky Dragon was ok but never took card payments so rarely used.Will definelty be using again. Good menu options without being over the top. The mixed appetizer box was superb, not overly greasy and full of flavour!
