Clear Links Support

I have had a few support teachers from clear links. I can honestly say that there are some really nice people that have been a great help to my studies over the years.I currently have an amazing tutor called Caroline. She is a God send and so supportive, encouraging and provides amazing guidance. I don't know if I would have gotten through my dissertation for my Master without her. We meet regularly via zoom and phone calls and texts. I update her, she updates me we have a very good working relationship. She helps me organise my schedule and is extremely flexible to support me around my family's time.They have a gemstone on their books.Overall the services are impeccable. They are supportive if your struggling with time to meet tutors and can fit you with others that meet your needs. I would recommend this service to anyone.

I received a tutor at Clear Links through my DSA support. I have found this service extremely helpful and received the guidance I needed to get me through my dissertation. The guidance I received was personalised to me which was incredibly useful as my tutor helped me find strategies and techniques that worked best with how I like to think and work.I am currently studying at Masters level, and due to the subjects I chose for my undergraduate and a levels, I've never written a dissertation. Coming in to maters level and having to write a dissertation was extremely overwhelming and daunting for me, however, thanks to my tutor at Clear Links, I am writing my dissertation and enjoying the whole process and confident with what I am doing. Couldn't recommend this service more if you feel daunted by academia and want to do well in your studies!

I have had the support of ClearLinks since starting my degree in 2021. As a mature student, I wasn't sure if the support being offered would be suitable to an older student, however my worries were swiftly taken away by the incredible support I have received from Stacey & Tizzie. Stacey has elevated my confidence, provided reassurance & I genuinely look forward to speaking with her each week. Tizzie has been able to let me understand my disability in ways that medical teams have been unwilling to explain, allowed me to see that some things, I just have no control over and others I can make adjustments (to the best of my ability) to make things work for me.I finished my first year with a First (75%), and I honestly believe that without their support, that score would not have been even close to being a reality.Genuinely I can not recommend the team at ClearLinks enough for their dedication to helping students, along with how diligent and compassionate their staff are.

Clear links have been responsive and supportive throughout. They have listened to my needs and have been approachable and helpful when I needed to reconsider the support I was getting. I would have really struggled completing my studies without them and my Skills Tutor, RH, who was amazing.

Working with my tutor from Clear Links has enabled me to prioritise study and tasks, access support, manage a busy household, work and study full-time. My Clear Links tutor is supportive, friendly, caring and has been invaluable during my time studying a challenging degree.

I've really appreciated the help I've received from my Specialist Mentor. Sometimes I get helpful advice or techniques, sometimes I talk through issues and come to a conclusion myself, but I always get plenty of encouragement and positive reinforcement. It's been a great relief to have a time to check in on my progress at regular points and it's definitely making a difference to my work.

I have been provided a mentor through Clear-links since September 2022. This support has been super helpful throughout the academic year, helping with managing my time to find a balance between studying and downtime, building my confidence. They approach everything in a really friendly manner, and you have full autonomy over how and what areas you most feel you need support. When contacting the office they are also very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this service to anyone needing a mentor.

Clear Links has supported me throughout my time so far at University and I cannot recommend them enough. Exceptionally nice people to receive mentoring from, my current Mentor has helped me throughout a lot of stress and anxiety and overall is a good friend I can relate to and have a close heart to heart with. With previous services, I felt ignored and misunderstood most of the time, but with Clear Links non of that is an issue at all.

Clear Links has really helped me as an autistic person to stay organised and on top of university assignments. It’s also very human with wonderful support mentors who respect every need. I wish I had this in secondary school!

My weekly sessions have helped me SO MUCH, in so many different areas.My mentor has been friendly , approachable and knowledgeable from our first meeting and she is completely dedicated to assist me in every way she can to ensure my anxiety levels are kept at a minimum.I am so very grateful to have this support in place as I'm really not sure how I would have coped without it?I have faced a lot of obstacles over the past few months but I am coping and dealing with them a lot better, due to the fact that I have Emma, my Clear Links Support Mentor, to assist and re-assure me.She is truly wonderful and I cannot express how grateful I am for all she has done and continues to do, for me.
