Lovely small family run restaurant. Staff friendly and attentive. There were 12 of us and our food was served together. Shame I don't live in Blackburn I was visiting a friend. We had a mixture of main dishes. Everything was delicious. I had the Moroccan green tea with the vegetable tagine. They have dish of the day and soups on other days. Worth a visit.

Very nice Moroccan cafe, with a wonderful traditional Moroccan atmosphere. Great tasty traditional breakfast options available. Moroccan dessert available. Very welcoming and caring staff. English and Arabic speakers. I personally tried the Moroccan traditional breakfast and the Shakshoka, both are amazing. They accept cash and card payments. Baby chair is available with small toys available to be used while in the restaurant. My 3 yeas old daughter enjoyed being there. Family friendly. Prices are very reasonable for the Moroccan experience, delicious food and the atmosphere. I suggest you follow their Instagram as they offer some special dishes on Fridays.

Was not open, arrived from out of town only to find the shutters down... Arrived about 18.40pm so 1hr 20 minutes before advertised closing time.... Disappointed... Next time I'll call ahead to make sure it's still open for business or not.Update: Owner responded and apologised which I accept, they were closed due to unforseen circumstances and they explained to me that they had updated on social media their opening times, unfortunately I'm not really on social media and had only looked on Google maps, so my advice would be to call ahead if like myself you are travelling from out of town.10 out of 10 for the response from the business it is appreciated, and I look forward to trying some of your 5* star rated food on another occasion.

Went here tonight with my mother and fiancée. We were greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome. The food was absolutely beautiful, very well presented and priced really well. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of our starter which was a samosa chaat, I'll take a picture next time ha ha. For my main I had the kofta. Definitely our evening go to place from now on. A definite jewel of a place. A visit is a must.

Often the best places are tucked away, waiting to be discovered. La Marocaine" is one of those. Lovely family atmosphere

I've eaten in a couple of times and it's always really excellent. I decided to try the Tuesday Special which was a fish dish, which I got to take away. It was magnificent, succulent flakey fish with a spicy harissa that lived up to its reputation. This place never goes won't and is excellent value.(Note: I added the rice at home, it didn't come with the meal)
