Bunbury Mill
Lovely little place. The staff were all very friendly. Excellent warm scones in the tea room. I was apprehensive about the mill tour being 40 mins (you can only go in through doing the tour) but it went quick and our tour guide David made it interactive for kids. There's a small stretch of river which is picturesque and peaceful. Can purchase food from the shop to feed the ducks. Spent about an hour and a half here.

What an amazing little place! First visit to Bunbury Mill today and the volunteers couldn’t have been nicer! Peter gave us a tour of the mill and was extremely knowledgable and friendly. It has a gorgeous little tea room and the homemade cakes were delicious. Will be visiting again!

Only open for a limited period time during the year but a must see! Run by very welcoming volunteers this is a very ancient mill that’s gone through numerous changes and that history is certainly conveyed during the tour. Great for all ages although due to the nature of the building there are a few narrow stairs so not accessible for all. There is a great tea room attached to the mill and reasonable parking so arrive early!

Our amazing visit to Bunbury Mill. The tour was absolutely fantastic ,we loved it. Peter made it very interesting and he involved us in operating some of the machinery. He also told us some hilarious facts.Come along and start the 10 Ton Waterwheel to test your strength. We’ll remember this trip for a long time! The above comments have been made by our 8 year old granddaughter who visited the Mill with us and her 4 year old sister.Thank you for a very interesting visit and making it so much fun for our grandchildren as well as us.What a great team you have!Very best wishes. Wonderful! This place is run by volunteers who are very passionate about it. Our lovely tour guide Peter was amazing, I actually learned a lot. It's also very interactive. Great for kids. The tour was about 40 minutes and there is a coffee shop next to it or you can bring your own picnic. Such a nice spot. I would highly recommend it to everyone and you support this place and keep it alive!

We first visited Bunbury mill a year ago and since then we thought we must go again. On a glorious June day we ventured back into the heart of Cheshire and we were not disappointed!! The lovely volunteers at the mill were fab and really welcoming. The cakes though....phenomenal! Literally the best Victoria Sponge we have ever eaten!! The Chocolate Cake and Coffee and Walnut Cake were also very delicious. For a #savoury treat we also had the miller’s platter which was delightful. This by far one our favourite places to visit!! Thanks for a fab time
