Wonderful little library with lots to read and do

Cute little library with lovely librarians!

My 8 year old has just started to get into reading and over the summer holidays has had great support from our amazing local Library. He has read 5 books so far and has really started to enjoy the adventure he is reading.

I have been a supporter and long term user of public libraries all my life, but since moving to Woburn Sands nearly 15 years ago the library has been an important part of life in the local community. During COVID Nikki and the team managed to keep an excellent service going - they are always so helpful, cheerful and informative and thought busy make time for a friendly chat.Thank you Jeanie McDougall

We are so lucky to have Nicky, our professional, knowledgeable and helpful librarian at Woburn Sands library. Just a simple conversation and Nicky is always so willing to help in finding the appropriate books for the right age group, suggesting ideas and more than happy to order them into the library if necessary.Every term our 8-year-old son covers a new topic at school and every week he must produce a mini project as homework. Using the Internet is a source for information of course, but it is so vast and can be overwhelming. Having a variety of physical books from the library is firstly free, but more importantly they are so much more inspiring and provide so many ideas for these mini projects. I am so pleased our local library can provide this wonderful service to us all, so I’d recommend you take a visit.

Having the library in our little village is fantastic. Plethora of books (many graphic novels too that I like) and many activities for people at every age. We particularly love the Lego club every Friday. On Friday afternoons the place is buzzing with people young and old. The stuff is amazing and they go above and beyond to help (even when I was abroad). This library is a true blessing for our little community.

Lovely local facility we went to a toddlers book reading and singing session on Thursday at 11:15. Great fun.
