Absolute Game Changer!I have a number of underlying health conditions, Multiple Sclerosis, Chrons, uveitis & arthritis in my hands & feet. Using CryoLab has been a game changer for me. It’s helped with all of my conditions. I recently had an operation, so couldn’t make it for a few weeks. The pain & discomfort ramped up & I couldn’t wait to get back. Things improved after just one session. There isn’t much help for people struggling with autoimmune conditions, finding CryoLab is an absolute blessing! An added bonus is the amazing, friendly people you’ll meet.

I had Knee surgery end of September 2021, it was the third time I have had this surgery, previous operations often associated with some swelling on the knee joint especially when I pushed onto the next level of my rehab. This time I decided to use cryotherapy throughout my recovery as soon as I could walk, it made a huge difference, I have gone through the rehab this time without any hiccups, or periods of swelling, I can only put this down purely to cryotherapy as I have done nothing different other than this with all previous knee surgeries. I would highly recommend this to anybody suffering with a sports injury or recent surgeries, it has made my rehab enjoyable!Great facilities and great people which helps the experience.

I have been attending Cryolabs for a couple of months. I have gone from walking in pain with a stick to walking freely and no stick. This place is amazing and Ian is so helpful and everyone is so friendly. I would 100% recommend Cryolabs.

Highly recommend this place. Ian is very welcoming and the facilities are great. I've had three sessions so far and for sure can feel the benefits already in helping my knee injury. If you are considering using Cryolabs I highly recommend giving it a go!

CryoLabs was the first place I ever tried Cryotherapy and I don't think I could ever go anywhere else! Everyone was so kind and encouraging. Ian has created a real community atmosphere that adds so much to the whole experience.I felt amazing afterwards and the knee pain I was experiencing was relieved after one session. I don't live in Poole but plan to pop in anytime I'm in town.

I had an MCL (Medial Collateral Ligament) injury which was relatively mild but a little slow to respond to all the exercises I was given by the physio at the hospital. I also have an energetic GSD puppy who, despite my injury, still needed to be walked daily. Whilst I kept mobile, I felt I was not fixing as quickly as I could have been.I am not a crystals therapy kinda guy but have used Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists in the past and I do like a bit of 'alternative' therapy. I have also heard of the ice baths that footballers and tennis players take after matches.I looked up Cryotherapy on the web and found Cryolabs in Poole.I spoke with the owner, Ian and booked up a trial session.I should point out that I live 45 miles away and there is place nearer me that does Cryotherapy BUT, there are a few things to remember:Firstly, best results are obtained with colder temperatures; so make sure that your chosen provider's chamber goes to -135c (yes really!).Secondly, for best results go for full body immersion, many of the facilities don't immerse your head! That makes them a lot less effective. In total I had 7 sessions over about 5 weeks, including my trial one. When I arrived, I completed the medical questionnaire and Ian talked me through the process. Pretty easy but remember no jewellery as metal cools waaay faster than the human body.So -135c sounds horrific but actually, it's not. After the initial OMG moment, you settle in quickly and after a few laps of the chamber (it's actually pretty much like a small sauna but without the benches), you are free to do your own thing. I spent my session (approx. 3 minutes) stretching my knee and as many other bits of my body as I could. There are a maximum of 7-8 people in the chamber and if it had a fire in the corner instead of a Liquid Nitrogen feed you might call it cosy! Some choose to dance but it's more of an on the spot jog rather than being able to go all Saturday Night Fever!!That is round 1 while everyone has their 1st. session. But wait! - there's more, everyone gets a 2nd session (if they want it), not everyone does!I met an MMA fighter who comes almost daily and a Chiropracter who visits several times a week. There are people there using Cryo for anything from sports injuries to Psoriasis. So my knee injury is now 99% fixed and I feel that it recovered a lot faster than if I had just left it and done only the exercises the physio gave me.I found the therapy itself quite invigorating and got a bit of a buzz after the sessions as I returned to 'normal'. It was worth the time (and money) for me to go.The list of conditions that can be treated is huge and Ian will tell you if he thinks Cryo won't do anything for you. Sometimes his Chocolate Labrador also goes into the chamber! The dog must get some benefit as she keeps going back for more! And I guess the series Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof must tell you something about the benefits of cold therapies.Overall I give the whole experience 5-Stars and would recommend Cryolabs - Poole without hesitation.
