Schools of Kung Fu Essex - Woodford

I viewed several different classes prior to joining Schools of Kung Fu Essex. The main reason I decided to join was the friendly and warm environment, Sifu Kul greeted me with a large smile and the group were very welcoming and took time with me finding my feet. Other classes I viewed people couldnt leave their egos at the door where as Schools of Kung fu Essex we are team helping build each other not beat each other. Since joining j have increased my class schedule and wish I could do more.

Really good style, direct, simple, but effective. Sifu Kul was good.

As a beginner I've found the classes to be excellent so far, combining aerobic martial art / self defence elements with meditative aspects involving slow, flowing movements and standing meditations. There's a lot to learn but no pressure. Sifu Kul, Paul and the more senior students have all been very welcoming and patient with a beginner like me as I slowly progress. The learning process is a challenging but enjoyable journey. Highly recommended.

After the kids doing years of martial arts training it’s now my turn, I chose to do wing chun as for me it’s the best fighting skill to learn.I very much enjoy the Woodford and Loughton classes. I am as a result calmer, more confident and learning a very useful skill in order to defend myself, which feels great as a female living in London.
