Another excellent dinner, succulent and tender venison followed by sublime honeycombe gelato, all helped along by a delightful bottle of Chianti. Italian cuisine at its best.

Couldn’t wait to try the newest restaurant in town and we were so impressed with the quality of our food and felt the portions were very generous.We were given some homemade focaccia and almond breadsticks to enjoy whilst browsing the menu. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to return!

Everything about this restaurant is just perfect!The food is exquisite, the choice of drinks is superb, the staff are fantastic all in a nice relaxed venue.I can personally recommend the avocado, bruschetta and the risotto fungi, absolutely delicious! There was also lots of positive comments, from the other tables.You can also make a weekend of it, as this restaurant is part of a very luxurious guest house.We are already looking forward, to going back!

Ravenscourt House Restaurant
We had a lovely evening in the new Italian restaurant here. Their menu has many things that I and my husband fancied (I'm quite fussy, so this is unusual). We enjoyed our food and also chose good wine from the reasonably priced wine list. The atmosphere and service were great and the conservatory setting was very comfortable. We will return. Thanks Nick and Cris for this welcome addition to Grantown's dining options.

The food here is delicious and the service is perfect! Could not fault a single thing!We had lots of seafood here and would highly recommend the calamari, sea bass, the mussels and pasta. The portions are very generous and everything was great value.We were stuffed but we still had the sticky toffee pudding and regretted nothing! Get it!They were also very friendly and accomodating when we came into the restaurant earlier than our booked time and seated us straight away!Thank you!

Hugely enjoyable evening. Highly recommend the restaurant. It's a new restaurant owned by friends, for full disclosure, but independently of liking the owners, it's superb. The food is delicious and the atmosphere and service really good. I can see it will become somewhere that gets booked up really quickly!

How much does Grantown need a new restaurant and we were excited to try. Full disclosure we are working with Nick and Cris, however, that doesn't cloud my judgement on the dinner that we had. Italian food, the seafood especially is exceptional, exactly what I like, loads and loads of fish! The portions are great, the setting is relaxed, drinks are plentiful and the service is faultless. Looking forward to seeing how the boys take this further through the winter season.

We had a great stay at Ravenscourt house! Rooms were modern but with a period feel. Clean and well maintained. Good location short work from main street. Dinner at restaurant was outstanding - great selection of wine - loved the puglia house red. The pasta was great - we had the duck ragout and Gorgonzola penne - both great even after we just flew in from Italy! Entree of bruschetta with goats cheese was delicious - and dessert ny cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding both excellent. We were really impressed!
