Warm and inviting, just what we needed after a long drive to our nearby overnight stay at Travelodge.Easy to book via the website. Relaxed and child-friendly with a good choice of home-cooked food. Just what we needed!

Nice staff but quite an unpleasant pub with plastic shot glasses, poor Guinness (head full of bubbles) and the specials written on a tacky light board. Food looked pallid and lifeless. Shame as could be a lovely historic village pub.
