Norfolk Wine School

Thank you for a really enjoyable day on the Saturday course. Really informative without being too much information. You cut through the fussiness and confusion that can surround wine to bring it to the basics of what you enjoy and how to find it again. All this in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Cheers!

I've been going to Jeremy's wine experiences with my wife and some friend for a few years now, which in itself shows how good these are.Jeremy does all the leg work so it's great way to discover a range of wines without having to try every bottle out there.We've done several evening events as well as an all day event and each one has been excellent, I'd certainly recommend trying one if you enjoy your wine.Jeremy will take you through each wine, usually with a bit of food pairing, explain a little about where it's from and then everyone can guess the bottle price for a bit of fun. For anyone new to wine tasting Jeremy will explain how to get the best tasting experience ... I'm sure most people have seen people swill, suck in air and wash the wine around, but it's interesting to undertand some of the science behind it. The crib sheet provided tells you where you can purchase the wine from and there's room to make notes for yourself.There is no wine sold at these events, so there's no hard sell, it's not that kind of event, you just learn a bit about wine and get to try some you might otherwise not have tried. Our group have certainly discovered a few wines we really like and with the bonus they are not expensive.I'll definitely be booking some more in the future.Oh and don't drive there, you'll be over the limit afterwards.

I went to a wine & cheese event recently, held at the Walled Gardens, Plumstead. I thought the event was good, the wines and cheese generally very nice and the compare seemed very knowledgeable. The venue was lovely but I was really disappointed with the set-up with everyone sat separately with their partners or friends!! I went on my own, expecting it to also be a sociable event, with everyone sitting together. I was put on my own with a small table and thought, wow this is going to be fun, not! Lucky for me, there was a very kind and lovely couple next to me who offered for me to sit with them. Thanks to them I had a very enjoyable evening. I hope they did too!I wonder if all their events are like that. I would definitely not go again if I'm on my own.

Had a great night learning from Jeremy all about Wines then sampling some of them with Cheese. There were a couple of large tables and we had a good laugh, the noise level increased as more wine was drunk! We were given vouchers and introduced to the Norfolk Wine Club, we'll certainly be trying other formats in the future.

Jeremy's WSET Level 3 teaching was exemplary. He evidently gave a great deal of time and attention to the selection of wines we tasted and I feel the course provided absolutely excellent value. Jeremy's teaching style is very interactive and encouraging of individual contribution. I came away from every class looking forward to the next one. I can't recommend this course enough. Thank you, Jeremy!

We had a private wine tasting at an Airbnb in Norfolk as part of a hen do and Jeremy was absolutely amazing. Easy to communicate with prior to the event and made everything so easy for us! Brought everything and did all of the set up and clear down it couldn’t have been easier for us. Little things such as snacks and a gift for the bride to be were so welcome. The wines were delicious and a very fun and interesting selection, we were a mixed experience group and everyone came away having learned something. Would give more stars if I could!! Thank you, Norfolk Wine School, for hosting an exceptional Cheese and Wine evening at Coder Agency. We all had an incredible time exploring the different wine varieties and cheese pairings. The knowledgeable and passionate team at Norfolk Wine School made the experience truly unforgettable, and we can't wait to attend more of their events in the future. At least 5 stars for the Norfolk Wine School! The Saturday wine course is a full day with a full lunch at the fabulous Last Wine Bar and getting on for 20 wines to taste. It is suitable for wine tasting newbies as well as folk who have dabbled a little deeper. The day is beautifully paced with a glass of champagne to kick things off and a blind tasting after lunch to get you up on your feet and applying a bit of what you have learnt. A great day out.

We regularly book events with the Norfolk Wine School and it is so much fun. The background about the wines is really interesting and Jeremy always very carefully selects the most amazing wines. We have met so many like minded people there and the atmosphere always gets increasingly more fun throughout the evening.It is such a fantastic experience and I can highly recommend it.
