It was all I had wanted it to be. Perfect !!!

Have just stayed in the Swaledale hut with my loyal 4 legged friend Nel.Wonderful location, so peaceful.Huts are done out beautifully to a very high standard.First time I have stayed in a shepherds hut and I loved it.

I stayed in the Dalesbred hut with my best friend as we are celebrating big birthdays this year. We had such a wonderful time and made lots of new memories. The Hut itself was gorgeous and was so lovely and warm with the log burner. The bed was super comfy and we had everything we could need. Emma was super helpful with her recommendations of where to go walking and visiting. We even got to see the baby lambs and some of the farm with farmer Pete! It was a well needed break that we enjoyed immensely! Thanks so much! Xx

We’re just home from a lovely holiday away in Yorkshire that started with a weekend in Dalesbred, it’s the most beautiful and luxurious shepherds hut we’ve ever stayed in. It had everything we needed and the attention to detail was spot on in every way. The location was stunning, and so peaceful and the icing on the cake was getting to meet some newborn lambs and have a chat with Emma and Pete about the farm, which meant so much to this country girl that really misses her farming roots. A perfect weekend that we will be looking back on fondly for many years to come (although we are really really hoping to be able to come back again before too long)! Would highly recommend.

Fabulous getaway destination! We have visited now three times and experienced each hut. They're all very modern, well heated, hot water, top quality decor, toiletries and fluffy towels. Excellent cooking equipment and fantastic breakfast products. There's lots of cute sheep who are really quiet, and we saw pheasants! At night you can see all the stars and hear owls too. Beautiful sunset and sunrise views across the fields.Basically if you want to have a relaxing nature weekend but don't like tents, wetness and cold - this is your haven!

We stayed in the 'Dalesbred' hut for 2 nights and it was perfect. It's in such an idyllic location which was perfect for some much needed peace and quiet. The hut was beautifully decorated and really well equipped. We purchased the breakfast pack which we would highly recommend - excellent produce.We hope we can come back and visit soon!

We all had such a fantastic stay in one of the family shepherds huts. It was absolutely stunning with such amazing attention to detail, inside and out.Honestly everything you could ask for, without taking away the rustic charm of the huts.Situated in such an ideal setting, the views are breathtaking and we weren’t overlooked at all, and was so great having our own private area.Emma & Pete are such wonderful people and made sure our stay was perfect, answering any questions we had (extremely promptly) and giving any tips on little hidden gems such as the magical little walk to the woodland beck, which the kids absolutely loved.It was just what we all needed, a fantastic experience for all the family.Emma & Pete, you have done such a fantastic job and just keep doing what you are doing!!We can’t wait to come back!The Bruces xx
