I have been seeing Ed for around five years. It started with an old neck injury which he was able to sort out with three sessions.Since then there were various new injuries, relating to my work.Most recently Ed helped me overcome the effects of trauma which had a significant impact on my physical health, my body. I did not realise how much impact mental trauma may have. I experienced back aches, legs being stiff, headaches, lack of sleep.The sessions were very educational and helped me to get out of being stuck and feeling constantly in pain. I cannot thank him enough for it as it was nearly eighteen months of being in a very difficult place. I am feeling well enough to start looking after my health again and get back into my fitness. I would highly recommend to anyone who might have suffered trauma and is feeling caught in a loop.

Always made to feel at ease durning my visits. Ed listens intently & always ensures I understand how he is going to treat me. I love that he always strives for a solution & not just a quick fix. The treatment is second to none & would never think twice to recommend this practise.

Ed is so caring and kind. It may sometimes seem like not much is happening whilst on the table, but I can assure you that changes are being made from within you and his guidance truly helps these things along. I'm now a dedicated lifelong fan.

I have used the services with Ed at S.O.C twice now within a number of years, with issues presenting in the legs and feet. The service has been exceptional. Having occasionally used similar services in the past and seeming to end up with surface level discussions, the problem persisting and being out of pocket....I was a little skeptical, however the level of service and actually resolving the problem has exceeded expectations.The difference for me is the genuine care for patients, thorough explorations of not only the presenting issues but history and emotional wellbeing which all links together. Following on from that the clear explanations of what he is doing and the routes forward on the treatment has been excellent.I have recommended S.O.C to many people and will continue to do so.

After spending my valuable time and hard earned money on a different osteopathic clinic with no improvement on the condition i had with my lower back, even after multiple appointments, i was fed up and was suffering as the pain was affecting my work and personal life, Ed Cossart at Somerset Osteopathic Clinic was my final resort. I am and will always be grateful for all the help Ed has given me in understanding my condition and making some interesting observations and providing optimal treatment, both for my body and mind to heal me. I've had issues on my right lower back, with pain extending through my legs to my feet. At times it was hard to sit for longer at work or lying on your side or even driving the car. Anywhere i looked for help, all i was given was some advice on how to live with it, but nothing to actually give me some relief in my physical condition to be hopeful mentally that i can however live with it but just better. And Ed has given me this and if anything anyone in any kind of situation as i was, i can't stress enough on the fact that all you need is a few appointments with Ed at Somerset Osteopathic Clinic.The clinic itself is small but the ambience is brilliant, you feel good to be in there, there is a feel of comfort the moment you walk in. The clinician was extremely calm and understanding, and easy to converse with. Ed always made sure that i felt the most comfortable before starting the treatment. He explained his findings and treatment plan as early as the initial appointment and if you are interested he is more than happy to explain everything in detail and you feel confident in the whole process.If you are considering Somerset Osteopathic Clinic, and if you are choosing to go with Ed as your Clinician, which i strongly recommend, please bare in mind that you need to trust the process and let your body heal, allow it some time to respond. Ed is not someone who is keen on having you over with multiple appointments one after the other, but rather he expects us to be a part of the healing process and trust the time the body takes to repair itself with the correct assistance from the clinic.My condition has gotten better and i live a normal life without worrying too much about the fact that i had a bad back. I have a desk job, i drive for atleast an hour every day, and i have even taken a 10 hour international flight, with no significant issues, infact i didnt even notice anything after i got off the flight. Also this is not a fantasy trip, lets be realistic, its safer to be aware of your body rather than thinking that getting an osteopathic treatment is a free pass to be careless. So its not magic that is happening in the treatment, but its more like a joint effort between the clinician and you going through understand the condition to trusting the process and giving it time and finally getting the result.So to conclude this, i highly recommend this clinic and especially Ed Cossart, with full confidence. I am sure anyone who's been in there for any kind of treatment would say the same.

My son and I visited Edward on separate occasions, my son for his knee which kept giving way, Edward was super helpful and professional in aiding my sons recovery, and how long it would take his knee to sort after one visit it is sorted and he is able to play rugby again.For myself, Edward helped with a sore foot which I had somehow moved something and Edward was able to realign my foot solving the pain and swelling issue, Edward is so good at what he does.Edward has healing hands !Thanks Ed !Lisa and Koby

Been to see Ed a fair few times in the past few years regarding several different problems, and every time they have been resolved, Ed really knows his stuff! Very professional, clean and tidy work place. Would highly recommend, worth every penny.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My son who has complex learning disability , challenging behaviour and complex health problems was struggling with daily back and neck pain. Ed was recommended to us from a friend.Before the initial appointment we filled in a detailed health declaration so we didn’t need to explain anything on the day. Ed immediately put my son at ease and explained what he was doing and all though his treatment ensured he was comfortable and reassured him.It was the longest time I have ever seen my son lay still and he looked totally relaxed.We have now seen Ed three times. My son is supported by a team of carers who have feedback the following information since his treatment. The best weekend we have had with him in 15 years. Calm relaxed, wanted to go to bed earlier as appeared to be tired.slept really well even had a lie in!Hasn’t requested paracetamol or mentioned pain for his neck or back.Definitely calmer and wanting earlier nights so brighter in the day time.Very tired on treatment day!Amazing results in such a short time.First impressions are so important and Emma was very professional and friendly as well.She listened to our needs and made our appointment with Ed. Ed is a very experienced and effective osteopath. The reason for my visits have been a combination of legacy issues and recent injury and Ed has been able to explain things to me that are happening in my body better than any practitioner I have seen previously. His treatment has had a far more positive impact on my recovery than previous interventions. His holistic balanced approach instills a lot of confidence and I highly recommend him - especially to anyone who has been underwhelmed with previous treatment of a chronic condition.In short I can't exactly explain what he is doing as it's a very light touch approach with zero manipulation (unlike other bone cracking practitioners I have seen) but I can function without pain now and think that is a real 11/10!
