Trade Glaze

We opted for Trade Glaze to build a new summer room/conservatory and sincerely wish we hadn't. Like others on here we were not aware of the change of ownership and had used the company in the past with only praise for the previous owner and his company's work. Whilst we could not fault the window fitters at all, unfortunately the building work (which was part of the package and contract but sub contracted by Trade Glaze) was a completely different story. The director of the company accepted no responsibility for the initial sub standard work which would not be passed by building regs until rectified by a different builder brought in. The battle that we faced for this to be rectified took weeks. The director was rude, threatening, constantly lying and did not visit the site whilst any of the problems were ongoing. Despite the fact he was the one that we held the contract with it was always somebody elses problem. We would certainly not recommend this company.

We have just had sash windows fitted by Trade Glaze and couldn't be more pleased. Karl fitted them with zero fuss and such quality workmanship. Yes, sash windows are more expensive than standard windows, but what fantastic quality.I would definitely recommend Trade Glaze.Very satisfied.

We had six new windows and a font door fitted and I cannot recommend Trade Glaze highly enough. From initially meeting with the agent measuring up and giving us a quote through to the fitters finishing the installation of the windows the whole experience has been a real pleasure. The standard of fitting was excellent and the windows are also of an excellent quality.

Recently used TradeGlaze after a friends recommendation, they fitted a composite front door and two sliding doors with integrated blinds. Our sales person Pete was excellent, very helpful, patient and understanding especially as we changed our minds about 10 times. The whole process was very efficient. The quality of the products is very high and the price we paid was very reasonable compared to competitors. The fitters Mike and Tom were really good and their attentiveness and quality of finish was second to none. Our job also required an old door and brickwork removed to increase the opening, dirt and dust was kept to a minimum. We are very pleased with our new doors and would recommend TradeGlaze without hesitation.

Stuart the MD quoted for the job and explained the benefits of different options and extra security options including laminated glass. None of the other suppliers took the time to go through this.The original windows for my house were put in by Trade Glaze and I used them in 2003 for replacing french doors and naturally wanted to get them to quote for the job and I can say that they have remain competitive over this time period. If I'm still here in 2 years time they will no doubt be building my conservatory!

I am extremely happy with my doors and the service I received from Trade Glaze. From start to finish, they provided an excellent service with great customer service. I was guided from the first meeting to ensure I recieved exactly what I was looking for, at a price that I could afford. There was no pushy sale but advice was given when I asked. The installation went smoothly and the installer's were very professional, courteous of our property and very helpful. The doors are to a high standard.
