Absolutely fantastic! Went in on a recommendation form a jeweller who said he had cut off rings in the past. My earrings had been stuck in for years and we had tried everything to get them out. He managed to painlessly remove them in under 5 minutes and refused to even take any payment. Such a lovely man, and I’ll know where to recommend everyone to go with unusual (and usual!) requests in future!

Incredibly overpriced (£40 for 2 new batteries!). Didn’t advise of cost until too late and work already done. Man who served us was also grumpy. Will not be returning.

Hello I have been impressed with the service and competent over many years association with this store and it's attentive manager.I recently had good hiking boots returned for warranty work on the soles and the team have outdone themselves. Thank you for all your advice and help.

Really incredible work and excellent customer service. Glynn has helped me multiple times, always doing the job cheaper and far better than I thought could be done! If you think you have a handyman task (not only keys and shoes) always worth a chat with the friendly staff here to see if they can help.

Glynn is an excellent knowledgeable watch mender and very reasonably priced. Repaired my Citizen Chrono and got a vintage Gucci watch working again after Gucci had said the parts were no longer available

My electric car key fob had fallen apart meaning I could only lock my drivers side door manually (it wouldn’t lock the other doors) so i had been stressing about it for a couple days. I walked in maybe hoping for them to just give me a manual key which I had been told from another repair services would be £50. I handed it in & he fixed it within 5 minutes & didn’t charge me as he didn’t have to change the body of the remote. My Mother goes in a lot for various different things, shoe repairs, new keys, pretty much any kind of repair! I won’t be going anywhere else from now on! Really recommend!

Had a battery fitted in my watch 1year ago£50 guy that works there said lifetime guarantee.Phoned up today to say that the battery is going to be told £59 when I said i was told lifetime guarantee he said I should have been given a blue sticker which I don’t recall getting and haven’t got. He then started getting stroppy and bolshi saying tough. I said why not check the battery you put in which he replied they don’t keep records which is convenient for them. I would avoid this timpsons at all cost or until they get some customer service training. Feel a bit conned.
