Banneton Basket

Visited Banneton Basket today for one of their signature Bolo buns with butter for the first time. Wow! It's delicious taste and sweet aroma have made it my favourite !100% will be returning! All the staff are incredible, especially Angel who is super nice and friendly.

The food here is fantastic! Especially the fried chicken dishes. My favourite has to be the pork and chicken bolo buns! Super delicious! Staff are always lovely too. You have to wait a little, but that's because it's all fresh and made to order. And definitely worth the wait!

Authentic pineapple buns with crispy skin.Tender fried chicken. Highly recommended.

As a massive fan of pineapple bun, this is one of the BEST bun I’ve ever had in the UK.Pineapple bun is 10/10 (with a slab of cold, thick butter), absolutely authentic Hong Kong pineapple bun.Presentation is banging! The golden pineapple-looking crust sitting on top of the bun nicely. It is crusty, buttery, sweet in every bite. Nom!Would definitely come back in the future to get my home sick sorted.

Glad to have stumbled across this delightful little place near Bicester Village. We decided to try the pineapple bun and deep fried chicken and were pleasantly surprised with the taste and authenticity. Highly recommended for people who want to try good quality Hong Kong street food served with a smile.

The pineapple bun itself can be called a good bread but not the authentic one as I expected from others’ comments. The chicken and pork inside is juicy but don’t really go well with pineapple buns in general. Other comments also said the bubble waffle is very tasty, but i think its just fine. It was too dry on the surface and not moist enough on the inside, plus the surface is quite porous, not the very smooth surface I expected, or say not the same as I saw from other comments. For the Hong Kong milk tea, the tea aroma is not strong enough and a bit watery.The queue for getting our foods is quite chaotic as people who ordered before us get all the foods before us. In general, the food is of fair quality but not as good as I expected and as other comments said.

Bolo Bun is very yummy. Friendly staff and reasonable price. Highly recommended!! Can’t wait to eat again.
