The service I received was very professional but at same time caring and compassionate.Elaine who I dealt with made the whole process very easy, and after our meeting it felt like I had a large weight of my mind.On the day the Drivers were very helpful in every aspect.I would not hesitate to recommend David Silver’s to anyone friends or family..

Of all the numerous problems and strange tasks that unfortunately come with a family death the one aspect that was made easier was the funeral itself. David Silvey and Son employees were commendable from the first phone call to the funeral which went without a hitch. The compassion, respect and professionalism of all involved was exemplary and I would strongly recommend this funeral director to anyone who is subject to this sad occasion.

Thank you to everyone at David Silvey for all of their help and support with my Dad's funeral. I anticipated all sorts of problems having him moved from Yorkshire to Berkshire but It was all so smoothly handled. Every step of the process had the utmost care and attention to detail. Thank you.

David Silvey provided a caring, personal and professional service when we entrusted them to arrange our mother's funeral. All of the staff that I had dealings with were sensitive and helpful. They helped make a difficult time less stressful by also taking on many of the external arrangements for us. We trusted that they would help to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day of the funeral, and it did. They helped us to give our dear mum a memorable send off that we will look back on for years to come.

Plenty of time for you listen to you nothing to much trouble , very polite .,Also lovely photo of mumi in a frame at the church, then handed to me when we came back to the wake, plus a small round glass pot with flowers,was taken aback what alovely surprise I was touched .

Cannot praise Elaine enough for all the assistance she provide during such a difficult time. Having just lost my mother our minds were elsewhere and she ensured that everything down to the fine detail was sorted. Great service

Recent funeral arranged with DS for my step father. From start to finish - was a positive experience. Elaine was great and exactly the sort of person we needed. There was another lady who joined our meeting who was in training I think Karen (sorry if incorrect) who we were also grateful for her vocal contribution to nudge our memory of a particular piece of music (brilliant!). It was a complicated arrangement with Elaine having to deal with numerous contacts and she did so professionally at a stressful time for our family. I’d also like to mention Jack Funeral Dir, whom on the day was so professional but sensitive to our needs - sorting out the arrival of 2 unannounced canine guests at the last minute. We all agree our Step father John had a perfect sending off so thank you David Silvey!

Excellent service, courteous sensitive and efficient and prompt dealing with 2 parents recently.

Spoke to them on the phone as my parent left no money for a funeral and I had to pay.Oh yes we except monthly payments"I was told... More than once.Went there to chat with them"£3700 upfront"When I explained I could'nt pay thatI was told "we cant help you".. It was like her mantra"We cant help you". Over and overI went somewhere elseThey could and did.Did not like the woman at Silveys attitude..."

David Silvey & Sons help us arrange my mother’s cremation , as a family we were looked after by Elaine who advised us on all aspects of the cremation from booking the Crematorium to advising about the service and different choices that we needed to make. Jack was our undertaker on the day and he was respectful, compassionate and caring as well as being efficient. Everything went smoothly and we have no hesitation in recommending David Slivey to other families.
