We experienced a hearty welcome by our host Rod. He offered us tea and cake while he got us useful information about the places and the whereabouts of the two Islands Lewis and Harris. We felt at home from the beginning. Rod and his wife are excellent cooks. We were spoilt with a big variety of breakfast and lovely dinners. Thanks for the honesty Bar. We will come again. Wardicott was 1 of 4 B&Bs I booked for a recent road trip, and outshone the others by a mile. Everything from a warm, unrushed welcome, generous choice for breakfast, comfortable spacious rooms having ample storage, luxury bed linen, good selection of hot drinks and biscuits. Alcohol is avaliable, beer, lager wines and spirits.I opted for an evening meal on 2 nights which were enjoyable, the portion sizes were so big I couldn't eat it all.

Great. Everything you could want for your break is provided. Lovely large room with lovely hot shower everything was perfectly clean. In the room we were provided with a safe, silent running fridge, iron and ironing board, plus the normal tea coffee bathroom products even two bottles of water were there to use. Downstairs there was a large lounge for guests to use and a small honesty bar (just keep a note of what you have and pay before you leave) with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.Rod the host and front man was very helpful, the tea, cake, “wee dram” and chat about the area and ideas for things to do were most welcome on arrival. We had a meal the first night which was good and the breakfast seem limitless and well cooked and presented.I would recommend to anybody and would stop here again without hesitation.

Very friendly host. Also did a Sunday roast for us as options are limited on a Sunday for eating out on lewis.

Great place to stay. Very warm welcome and an awesome breakfast. There also was a fridge in the room which helps a lot on the outer hebredes
