A wonderful experience working at Clockwork sessions. We booked a very last minute slot in a shared session for an orchestral arrangement of a Boris Grebenshikov song. Kobus Frick couldn't have been more helpful, the orchestra played magnificently conducted by Adam Robinson and it was beautifully recorded by David Donaldson. Legendary engineer/producer Jerry Boys who mixed the track said it was a'brilliant orchestra and recording'.

Absolute please to work with Kobus, Adam and David. As a bagpiper and composer this was my first adventure writing for strings and the advice and enthusiasm I got back from the team was invaluable. Kobus produced myself and the quintette with humour, professionalism, energy and a great ear. The musicians themselves were the finest and also very welcoming and reassuring. It’s all I could have asked for.

Incredible experience from start to finish. Wonderful people to work with and communication from writing the score to the finished recording could not have been easier. The sound of the orchestra is absolutely sublime. I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend the Clockwork Sessions. I am looking forward to using them again on my next project.

Such a beautiful sounding recording studio, atmospheric, perfect filming location too for the Craig Armstrong sessions. Great kitchen and social areas, plenty space for everyone and always great working with all the Clockwork team.

I’ve just got the audio back from my recent recording with Clockwork Sessions.The whole experience was excellent; very well organised, the session run extremely efficiently and with great communication during and after the booking.I was very impressed by the conductor, producer and musicians who gave us an impassioned performance, and also sonically the quality of recording by the audio engineers and the beautiful venue acoustics. Thanks Kobus, Adam, David and the orchestra!

I've participated in a few remote recording sessions by different companies in the past with mixed results, but working with Clockwork Sessions was such a positive experience that I will not hesitate to use them again. I recently booked their string quintet package and couldn't be happier. They were helpful and patient with collecting materials for the session, and I felt the team were genuinely working in my interests to get the best possible performance from the players. The recording sounds great too! Looking forward to our next session.
