The View @ Pier House Glencoe

The View @ Pier House was one of the highlights of our trip! It is an absolutely darling little cottage and the perfect place to cozy up after a day of hiking. Annie was an excellent host!! Thank you so much for having us!

We really enjoyed our stay at The view, at Pier House.A perfect base for our Scottish holiday. The view from the deck was absolutely beautiful. What made it perfect was the attention to detail. A really comfortable and lovely holiday cottage.Strongly recommended!

Very nice accommodation, convenient location in the highlands. Very comfortable bed, good wifi, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful spacious shower and modern bathroom. Beautiful location directly on Loch Leven. Gorgeous walks right outside your door. Could not have asked for a better stay near Glencoe.

Glencoe is the perfect location for hiking and visiting the highlands. Amazing view from the cottage. The cottage itself was just perfect, everything you need is inside, good bed, a very complete kitchen, spacious bathroom and a nice deck to sit outside where you can enjoy the colourful sunsets over Loch Leven. Annie and Andy really made something beautiful here. We would 100% recommend this cottage!

“The View” is aptly named, and a lovely guest house, centrally located to the sights in the Glen Coe region. We had a marvellous time!

The pictures and description of View @ Pier House Glencoe don't do it justice. Everything about it is a step above, from the decorating which is nice and interesting (including photos taken by Andy) but not overdone, to the furniture and bed which were very comfortable. It was exceptionally clean. I really enjoyed the wool blankets in the evening and morning. The views were gorgeous, especially the sunsets which we watched from the deck. The hosts greeted us as we drove in and were very friendly and helpful. There were books about local hikes, birds and history that were very useful and interesting. It is also very well equipped with a good refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, dinnerware and silverware and even a clothes washer. A restaurant just down the street called The Glencoe Gathering had great food and service, very friendly to everyone and was open a little later. It was a good find when everything else was either booked or closed on Sunday.We had a very hard time leaving View @ Pier House and would love to come again and stay longer.

Beautifully appointed cosy cottage for two - on the shoreline with lovely views of mountains and loch. Enjoyed the generous welcoming food gifts.Set in the heart of Glencoe with shops and restaurants nearby , and short walk or drive to access spectacular walks/mountain hikes.

The wonderful View@ Pier House in Glencoe experience started prior to the trip, with Annie and Andy being in regular contact with us to update and welcome us to their property. The View is a separate building with two floors and the décor and layout of the interior was superb and very tasteful. We immediately felt ‘at home’. Throughout the stay, the owners were always there should we have needed help and on the few occasions that we saw them we had lovely conversations about the property, it’s history and the surrounding landscape. The views from the accommodation were spectacular and, although similar, were changing every day due to the tide, weather and boats that were bobbing about. The building was at the end of a private drive and was approximately 20 metres from Loch Leven and the backdrop of the mountains. A fantastic holiday. Hosts 10 out of 10. Accommodation 10 out of 10 and location 10 out of 10. Thank you, Annie and Andy, for everything.

Glencoe is a perfect base to go hiking, kayaking paddle boarding. You can easily get there from Glasgow by bus (2.5h) has a few really nice pubs and a tearoom. The view is a wonderful accommodation for two. The views are truly stunning -at any time of the day under any weather conditions. The cottage itself has everything you need and is decorated with care and excellent taste. We’ve enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Definitely 5 star plus, the house was spotless, the facilities were very comfortable and the views were amazing. Very close to places to eat, I can’t recommend this highly enough. Annie and Andy are very friendly. I loved that they left a few provisions for us, that was a really nice touch.
