Active minds centre is just amazing. I can’t thank nor recommend Michelle and Mike enough for all their fabulous work they do, they’re just amazing! My mum loves it! They’re so hard working and make sure days are fun filled with numerous different activities including days out. Absolute life saver.

My father has been attending the day centre for a number of months now and I cannot praise Michelle, Mike and their staff highly enough for the care and attention they give to him and everyone who attends.His complex medical needs are well catered for and my mother kept informed in this respect.Michelle was a huge help with guidance and a advice earlier in the year when my father was in hospital.The activities, fun and games which are organised help keep dad in good spirits and health.The place is a gem - wish we had known about it years ago!

My husband has only recently joinedthe centre and has settled in well. He enjoys taking part in the activities which are well thought out and stimulating The staff are fantastic, very friendly and have created a lovely atmosphere of carering and fun. Support is also given to us, which I appreciate very much. I also like that photos and videos are sent to me showing my husband taking part in the activities. Which makes me feel we made the right decision to send him there.

Dad has Alzheimers and other mental health issues. He does not trust people easily and I found it very difficult to find a daycare that he would agree to go to. I was very lucky that Activeminds had just opened and from the day I took him to see it we have not looked back. They have been a lifeline helping with dad. Mike and Michelle are like family to him. He looks forward to going 3 times a week and it's lovely he gets social interaction and stimulation in a safe environment. The daycare is full of nostalgia and they do activities to keep them engaged, with an added bonus of day trips. I couldn't of coped looking after dad all these years without their help. I highly recommend for anyone's loved one.

Our lovely Mum was an Active Minds Member for the past few years until she sadly had to go into a nursing home. Michelle, Mike and her family became part of our extended family, looking after mum, making sure she was safe and stimulated and we could go to work etc with peace of mind. The centre is amazing, decorated with lots of pictures and nostalgia. Emphasis on keeping members mobile, stimulated as much as possible so lots of music, dancing, trips out involved. Links with other agencies also and getting involved in dementia awareness. Its a brilliant centre and could not recommend it more. 5 stars *****

Michelle and Michael are very caring and dedicated people. They run a great centre packed with activities to support those living with dementia. Dad really enjoys his time at the centre and loves the trips/activities that are organised away from the centre. Everything they do is aimed at helping to stimulate the brain and hopefully reduce/slow down the impact of dementia on the service users and their family. They are very friendly, approachable and keep me fully informed about activities and any concerns they have for Dad. I would be lost without the service they provide and the support they offer.

We recently found this amazing place in Crosby, run by Michell and her husband. My Mum has been going twice a week and is loving her time there. She has made new friends and has lots of activities to do each day. They enjoy the fresh air in the lovely garden. There is dancing and a movie room to watching older movies to invoke memories. Lots of other activity rooms as well.We can't thank Michelle enough for her advice along with her friendly, caring and professional attitude.

My mum goes here twice a week and it's honestly the best thing we have done for her. She feels safe here, she doesn't feel silly like she sometimes does around others for being forgetful, she has so much fun each time from dancing to sports days. She loves the staff like they are family. Keep up the good work xxx
